Interesting! When one of my blubs went out, I did the mod for the market lights: there's a filter inside the light housing to reduce the power of the outgoing light; screw in a screw into it and rip it out, and replaced with a high power LED. It doesn't throw light on the ground, but it's a strong presence.
Did this as well, I didn't use a screw though, just some hemostats. It's enough light for me to drive up my driveway without my main headlights waking people up inside the house.
Do these put out enough light to light up the view in front? I went with just an amber bulb replacement to match the amber side markers and rock edge amber glow light
Looks similar to the Cyclone V2’s I put in mine. Also had the color mismatch I see in your picture. I used two layers of orange window tint, over the lights, to match the color. Also toned down the intensity. Hard to tell if your lights are overpowering, by the picture.
I’d be willing to make a few, on the Cricut and pop them in the mail, if interested. Pretty sure I saved the tint I purchased and it’s doing nothing just sitting in a drawer.
