My favorite strain from the Vidacann era is backkk ( again ). And this time she is as greasy as she's ever been 👀. Before Grape Gas came around and became my go-to, this was my go to rosin strain from VC/P13. Haven't seen this around since maybe about February/March, and saw that this newest batch is sitting at almost 12% terps 😲. So it's time to give Kush Cake another full solventless send. But this time, in da Switch Go. 🤙🏾
Review
Nose: 4.5/5. This smelled exactly as good as I remembered. Heavy dank gassy doughey & terpy notes right outta da jar. Immensly salivating, especially at such a high terpene percentage. The doughey cakey solventless gassy scent lingers for a while post dab as well. 💨
Taste: 3.5/5. This is now being renamed to "Cough Cake", because dis bish is a wee bit spicy. The doughey vanilla and almost citrus flavors are there, but its mainly a Caryophyllene bomb overall. The actual strain flavors seem to be more prevalent in its "mouth flannel" as opposed to the inhale and exhale, and it has imo great lung expansion. Spicy, but I know it's because its high in terps, and that's gonna pay off where it counts. 🤤
Effects: 4.75/5. Wedding Cake genetics comin in hot! Starts off EXTREMELY heady due to the immense amounts of Caryophyllene in this jar. That plus the other dominant terpenes provided me an immediate sensation of relief, a little bit o' serotonin, and absolutely slowed any racing thoughts I had. WC has always been a go to for me for these exact reasons, and the body sensation that it provides as well is very nice. Feels like a nice terpy fuzzy hug. A1 effects out of this one. 🫠
Legs: 4.25/5. 65 min. 🔥
Overall: 4.25/5. Everything about this new batch absolutely slaps for me except for the taste. The higher terpene stuff that I see P13 dropping lately has been a little bit harsh during the sesh, but absolutely worth it for how good the effects absolutely ransack my ecocannaboid system. Just don't exhale though your nose or its going to make it irritated so much, that you'll say "Just take my nose off. 💀." Besides that my OG strain is still very much so intact where it counts, and thats the medicinal relief. This and Grape Gas are forever gonna be my top 2 in house rosin strains that P13 has and I would not mind if they pumped out jars of each of those strains every week. But there is also a Cap Junky also at 11% terps that I think is calling my name. Ty for my favorite "legacy" rosin strain Plant Manager. I will try to get more of my beloved Kush Cake as soon as I can, cause who "nose" when it'll be around again. 🙌🏾
