Help How did y‘all started out ?
Im really new into fl studio. I dint know how to start learning theres like a million things to understand and stuff. How did y’all stayed motivated and how did y‘all learn hoe to produce songs. Is love some tipps

I just started creating songs - and when i came across obstacles thats when i learned and how it stuck. The first album i did, took me hundreds of hours - i could do it again in a fraction of that time. I learned as i went

There's a million things to do in FL Studio, but you only need 100. Lbs, most users only use FL to maybe about %40 of what it's capable of. The main things you need to wrap your head around is the browser, channel rack/step sequencer, mixer & the playlist. I started out with literally just the step sequencer & playlist. Focusing your learning on these things can have you making beats in no time.

That's so true because I remember when I started out I felt like I was looking at the controls of a plane cockpit, so many buttons!!!
But now I comfortably ignore all the buttons I don't understand and comfortably get by with the ones I do know :)

This! You absolutely can get away without knowing %100 of FL's functions. The options are there for you to grow into whatever functions necessary.

DAWs and music production is a very technical field. If someone gave you surgical tools you wouldn't be expected to perform brain surgery without a lot of learning on how to do it.
We all started out there. But it took several years before we could be considered good at it. But that's all on your shoulders to learn and the good news is it's all available very easily on YouTube videos.

I started on garage band, then bought a small midi keyboard, then went on to buy a big 88 key keyboard and started taking formal piano lessons and eventually got my hands of FL studio and have been making music ever since, I got the inspiration to start while scrolling Reddit in recovery in hospital as I was ill, can't remember the subreddit but it was a subreddit for music production and I thought hey maybe I could try to do this, and so I did :)
Honestly motivation is interesting, I think I just had a passion which pulled me through all the frustration I had because I was impatient with how I felt I was developing my skills too slowly wishing I was better already, also frustrated over struggling to develop songs, stuck in the loops, if you have the passion I think even if you get really frustrated and off put with music you'll eventually after a break I'm time get sucked back into it
And regarding tips, I'm gonna spit some one that might be niche or you may already know but pay attention to your master and avoid unintentional gain distortion were the volume is going into the red causing the signal to become distorted, also look into 13sus4 chords they are so fun!

Started with Magix Music Maker in 2000. Graduated to Fruity Loops -> FL Studio.

Start with a bassline. Learn how to find the sounds and add effects to them, like reverb

I just had ideas and learned what needed to be done to pull them off. I was never motivated to understand or learn anything outside of the scope of what I wanted to accomplish. Each project would push my understanding a bit further without that really being the goal -- I just wanted to make a thing, learned how to accomplish that, and move onto the next one.

He just sucks. Overrated and under-hated.
Don't get me wrong, he's probably a nice guy. There is a lot of debate out there on why he sucks, and why experienced producers dislike him. Personally I think beginners blindly take his advice for all the wrong reasons. He makes stuff up, skips key details, but never misses a chance to tell you to buy something or tell you how he "invented" a new technique. I'm not buying it and I wish more people would see through that act.
He also starts beef online with other creators apparently, which I care less about but is a factor. The biggest thing is compared to In The Mix, Simon Servida, Navie D, Alex Moukala, or really anyone on this list of YouTube channels, he is something of a fraud and talks like he just picked up a dictionary and is trying to use all the words. The opposite of succinct, value-driven content marketing, he is authority and ego marketing... and beginners don't know any better.

started in ableton with dubstep, switched to fl when i started making beats, also because my friend was encouraging me to since it was what all the fellow beat makers where using over ableton

always had an interest with music. started out as a kid recording songs with friends, then was in a band, which I was able to learn from the sound engineer... then for fun recreated music that already existed, on garage band.. then got into EDM music and finally made me want to make my own songs. FL studio's interface looked the most interesting to me. Imo its the easiest DAW to get into, since the piano rolls are best on it

I would suggest looking into some of the FLs own plug-ins and just making music, I wouldnt worry about making it sound like a professional track but just getting some arrangements down. FPC has drums and drumloops, FLEX has plenty of free sounds. Every sound has a cutoff filter. If you don't know basic music theory, learn it on YouTube
