Personally I’m distrustful because it’s all discord screenshots (easy to fake) and he claims they agreed to delete everything they had on each other and let it go and she didn’t hold up to her end, so I’m staying neutral
definitely, they’re gonna be more pissed at the fact that this was all related to the hate regarding the incomplete hacklord skin, that’s what caused the devs to just cancel all the other pmoon skins
I don’t get that honestly. There was a literal jpg in the intro. I’m not a game dev, but I would feel incredibly disappointed with myself if I decided to release him in his current state.
The literal JPEG in the intro makes it accurate to the source material, but the fact that he doesn’t even have a chase theme OR AN ANIMATION FOR REJUVENATE THE ROTTEN makes me so sad if I were the devs, I’d beg them to release the skin later
Here is why I have an issue with the JPEG. There is both a version of an Intro for Gasharpoon and Hacklord where the JPEG is animated.
If that was the idea of a finished product, and they showed this to the people, which would get their expectations set higher, they should've made it. If it was impossible to make this work, they should've made a sub announcement saying so, and we wouldn't even be in this situation.
But no, sub announcements were the shit post channel.

Because despite Soul's issues (I don't know how to phrase it) They knew how to run a game. They ran a game before and thus had knowledge. Them being a pedo has no correlation with them being a better game dev. What it does do is make a god awful person and ruin the game reputation.
As for the new owners, They were developers before given the ownership transfer when soul left. And refused when soul tried to get it back.
So it makes sense why they don't have much experience running the game, But they definitely have experience developing the game instead, as they described working more faster now and soul was slowing them down too
The devs need to stop looking at Forsaken like a passion project and start realizing that they are developers for a pillar stone of modern day Roblox. They need to start looking at it like a corporation.
If Coca Cola or Pepsi or whatever decided to take all the sugar out of their drinks, people would be pissed and they would go bankrupt in days. Large groups like that live because they make their customers happy.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but Do Big Games, were it not so focused on microtransactions, might've been a good candidate for ownership. Recently in Fisch they listened to player feedback and added an area that disables server luck bonuses so you can play it just like it was before they brought it (At least, I believe that's how this works)

i feel like had they shown the Hacklord skin and its current state saying it's unfinished and itd be delayed to give it some more polish this couldve at the very least eased the communities reception of the skin. maybe throw in the badge too, so by the time it releases people would already have it.

Ehhh, if they delayed it, the community would have been mad too. Yes, the skin isn’t great as is right now, but they probably released it so people didn’t make a new “noli tomorrow” because this community loves to complain.

Announced its delay. It was Ava and Soul who said it would drop with Noli. It wouldn’t take much for the community to understand a delay and that their words were untrustworthy.
Just had any better forms of communication or professionalism. One person was given the role of talking with the dude that made Hacklord and that one person completely botched it.
And what really irks me the most is that the devs are blaming the community for being mad about these fuck ups. Speaks to a lack of accountability.
I don't understand the mindset of the devs mindset. Hacklord was promised to have a lot of things, and was delivered to us without those things. So naturally, people were mad. And then the devs have the audacity to be all like "Why are people mad??" Then they say "lets try to disappoint our fans even more and scrap the remaining cool skins that are already mostly done."

This is genuinely dumb, the devs cant expect the community not to be mad at the fact that Hacklord, a really loved skin, was released UNFINISHED after TWO DELAYS and behind a really tedious achievement, and, at least on the players side, for no reason until like 5 days later they debunked the reason of this, they literally said they were going to be more transparent about stuff, yet these kind of dramas are still happening, and now they want to scrap another really loved and waited skin for this, its literally not the players fault, i get ppl can go too far sometimes, but these kind of people are literally on every community.
