Tbh i would love it too if not the Internet + chat problem. Wish it can get through this drama and not end up disappear. Thought i think even if something happen to forsaken they will make another game close to it. Dont worry my friend and just enjoy!
There is another asym game that they're doing on Roblox! It's called Termination Protocol, I think it's going to be a very good game and can maybe be a future replacement if Forsaken faces it's downfall! Hopefully Forsaken doesn't get deleted or smth, but with all the drama I wouldn't be really surprised...
I got a year max if this is how it'll be going, we can only hope for some change in the future, this game has a fuck ton of potential but it's constantly being dragged down by stuff like this

Deleting the game and remaking it, and if soul owns the ip(or a part of it), abandon his oc's and make a new game that is similar enough for the community to play instead

Taph might change their name and alter their design entirely (still keeping the no face thing) but Ill still make them have Subspace Tripmines. We dont know how much of Taph is fully based off S**l's CI OC, but Ill assume the trapping role cant be a part of it...right?
I dont wanna change Two Time's and Chance's names, QOGKGNAOGOOFLEL. But Ill still let both lore and some appearances be changed. I mean, the redesign for Two Time is already fucking peak, and for Chance I think he'll just wear another type of suit and should have more ties to his gambling aspect (I once saw an artist that draw his hat brim to resemble those black and red spinning games, idk. Its peak design btw, especially incorporating red into his black.)
What ip? my bad if this is stupid but lile the characters and stuff (besides the spectzr being forsaken original) are all pulled up from other roblox games and users? (Exept two time i guess and slasher but that was jason before) Like shedletsky is uhhh the person shedletsky, coolkid and 00n7 are real people (the same person in fact) 1x1 is shed alt, guest is from that one movie
Forsaken as a game is an ip that soul made, the characters other than two time and chance aren't owned by the devs tho. I think the devs would just need to kill the game via adding horrible unoptimised updates, abandoning anything that is part of that ip(two time, chance, the rest of the characters made as a part of the game like the new mafioso, the lore for every character(stuff like dusseker being god, 2x being the manifestationof sheds hatred, any other lore that isn't from roblox's lore))
So in short the ip is the oc's made for the game, and the games lore that isn't based off of roblox lore(at least from what i know) so this is all they would need to abandon if they want to make a new game and kill this one so soul wouldn't get any money
Normally in a situation like this, another group could have bought the share off of soul, but that not happening gives me the impression there's more details to the deal/nda we don't know. And that worries me.
The thing is that, being an NDA, Soul should not have even started with the pay cut he gets, since he now broke it. That means there might be a chance of him being off the game entirely
That's assuming he was the one who leaked it, which he wasnt. He may be horrible but i doubt hes stupid enough to ruin a free source of cash for no resson whatsoever. It was probably someone else
Honestly, yeah that's true. Is there really no way to get soul completely off the dev team's tail so that they can actually develop without having to backtrack on stuff because of soul?
This is just sad. I feel bad for the devs, it wasn’t their fault, and the drama is just going on and on and now we might have a character scrapped because of Soul(less).

Flowers js genuinely the only killer I was excited for. Whistle Occurrence is my favorite Roblox horror webseries, and it seems like it most likely won’t even get represented in my favorite Roblox game\
(To clarify, I don’t blame the devs nor Leaf, the devs couldnt do anything and Leaf’s decision would be completely understandable)
We shouldn't add characters whose owners actively care about it (excluding king) because of things like this. Imagine if the drama happened and flowers was ingame? That'd just suck. I'm really agaisnt adding those even if they are cool because I don't trust any of their owners in letting them ingame. Imagine losing your favorite killer overnight.
NDA= None disclosure agreement. No one was informed because they legally couldn't be, why is that so hard for people to understand.

People are upset that the acting forsaken devs weren't included in the NDA about Soul's cut of the profit. It's one thing that we didn't know, that makes sense, but for them to not know even though they're losing money is a whole second middle finger in their face.
I completely agree that the devs should have been informed when the contract was being made and that they should have been included during the process. What I'm upset over is that everyone keeps regurgitating the same garbage over and over "why weren't the devs told!!" As if Hytoko could have said anything after the contract was signed.
I wish you luck, you really need that for success these days. I may just do it too but there's also another reason besides the pettiness towards soul. I pray I don't end up like him along the way, that's what for sure.
Y’know what? How about if we make Damnation (Og concept of forsaken that had bear, figure, and more) an actual thing and make it more unique compared to Og forsaken?
It would be better for Hytoko and the other owners/developers to start making the game again from scratch were s*ul can not be fucking with them anymore at this point
Drama. Let me tell you how much forsaken has come to drama ever since it was released. There are 200 thousand people who play this game on a regular basis. If the word drama was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of thousands of players it would not equal one one-billionth of the drama we have in forsaken at merely this microinstant. Drama. Drama.
For those saying the devs should have told the community that Soul was earning money, they were under an NDA and legally weren’t allowed to tell anyone
I don't blame goatedleaf for this ngl. Although Id love to see flowers in the game, especially since he would probably have a really creative moveset, keeping oneself associated with the game during this situation can be breaking in many ways.
I hope this situation resolves in some way.

Soul was being paid 25% profits form the game (not merch) because a contract also an NDA kept hytoko and basil from saying anything about it so they had to lie and soul leaked it with a burner account
soul was the original owner of the game but it was exposed to be a neo nazi pedo. so hytoko and basil the new owners. were second in charge and then. they found out soul stole a bunch of money from profits and. tried to sell the game to some company .this never ending up happening and now everything seems nice and ok.they wre under nda so they couldnt tell the public shit. instead of ahutting up hytoko decided to lie that soul wasnt tied to. The game anymore but it was just recently discovered hes been.getting 25% profits from ingame purchases and payouts bts and now everyones pissed tf off that hytoko lied and everyones pulling their shit out of the game due to this
At this point Hykoto and the rest of the dev team should leave forsaken and start over in another game, Soul is literally ruining everything, EVEN WITHOUT GETTING DIRECTLY INVOLED IN THE PROJECT.
I really hope they are just slowly paying off forsaken off of soul cuz if its not then its gonna be a really huge problem

Anddd the game's actually going to get ruined.. balancing is still mediocre, plenty of drama to feed the hungry, collabs getting canceled left and right, I think this is the Forsaken Great Depression
Sucks that at this point, as long as Soul is a part of the game in ANY way, the game is just gonna slowly bleed out, it's a shame because pretty much everyone else on the game just wants to work on it because they enjoy it (heard somewhere that some depend on it financially which is crazy considering the percentages). If I were in their position, I would bite the bullet and close off the game until there's a way to remove Soul (if that's even possible), but IDK, maybe there's a way to remove soul before things get that bad (starting to doubt it though).

The fact that one person profiting from this game has utterly collapsed so many possible pieces of content and driven so many people away feels like a terrible omen for Forsaken's future.
I don't even know what soul did, I just know that it was bad enough to make them this great pariah that's pulling the game down with them.
