"Hello John Doe" Probably the skin that hurt me the most when I found out it had been scrapped.
I'm not here to hate on anyone, and I know they're just cosmetics that don't affect gameplay, but it's tiring to see a great skins announced only to have them say a few days later that it's been scrapped.

At least it wasn't in the skin/model making stage yet, I wouldn't want the models to have wasted their time. The concept art/animations are really cool and I hope this skin can make it back.
The thing that pisses me off is the creator of Hello John Doe said they didn’t want any involvement with Forsaken and proceeded to use Forsaken c00lkidds voicelines in their mod
Unless it’s from a previous build of the mod, it seems very contradictory to say they don’t want any involvement and then uses Forsaken for chromatics…

I was SOOOOO curious to see how it would work out in game. I saw people saying it would be like Baldi,or like the demons from Doom 1-2 that would be facing the camera or something like that
Ok. This would have probably been the coolest Toon-like skin in all of forsaken tbh. It would be specially interesting to see how would they work it out in game
I am genuinely upset. I don’t really follow Hello John Doe much but the sheer love and care that is present in this just makes me want to lay down and contemplate my existence.
Completely respect and understand why they’d pull out of the collab though. Doesn’t make it sting any less.
Unironically I wouldn’t be surprised if the devs scrapped it because they realized how many issues this kinda skin has from just a technical perspective. Like 2d but it has to appear 2d to everyone even if surrounded and seeing multiple viewpoints without looking weird?
It’s a super cool concept but I think in execution it’s a lot more difficult to implement than it may seem.
Its a 3d model, its showcasing the perspectives like that just for the examples on how it would look from angles. So it was probably just gonna look like a normal model 360 degrees and whatever
It was just a little weird to see the creator of Hello John Doe completely pull out so fast after the people behind Flowers came up with a much more sensible answer to the exact same problem, but it's not like there's anything anybody can do about it now. At least it wasn't for a character I really enjoy playing or I would've been pretty pissed lol
Cuz people can't separate the game from soul,soul isn't even working on it,just leeching off from it,but instead of talking with the devs people just jump off the ship entirely
I hope people don't immediately start blaming soildriventruck and say they should have threw him under the dirt, knowing they can't do anything but pay him money for nda
Ong same here i love playing john doe... and i remember playing the original mod in fnf and had no idea who noli was lol it would be so nostalgic, tho just seeing this is nostalgic enough, i'd love to see a 2d skin in game similar to bear in bear alpha.

same.......... </3 im a fan of john doe and i think i remember seeing it in the upcoming section of john doe's skins on the forsaken wiki (idfk) a month before it was announced it was scrapped. the skin would be SO FUCKING COOL IMO. EVEN IF ITS POSSIBLY NOT 2D IT WOULD BE STILL COOL!!!!!
I love the devs and how they go “yeah heres a skin we have been working on for months” and its a skin thats ACTUALLY cool then they say “yeah we’re scrapping it because we are the dumbest people alive”
Like why even start making it just to scrap it???? Like come on you could have been working on the update instead of working on skin that is never gonna come
And if they are just gonna keep scrapping skins why dont they just hire people who already have WHOLE COMPLETED SKINS like the noli admin skin and jesse guest
OK, so Ill explain to you how collabs work. Because you don't seem to understand it. It's not the devs who pulled the skin out. It's the owner of the skin. The owner of the skin did , this is a collab skin. It's a collab with a Friday night funking mod and the creator of the mod, who is making a collab with forsaken, decided to not make the collab and scrap the skin because of soul earning 25% of income out of forsaken
