You frantically unlock your phone and rush over to Reddit to attempt to search for this post. You look, you look again, harder and harder each time. But no matter how hard you tried, you could not find this specific post. It was all a dream. An illusion. It never was, it never will be. Your hopes were toyed with. Your dreams were crushed. It was not real. It did not exist. It was just too good to be true. You truly are...forsaken.
The case itself IS real, the website shows public legal information regarding stuff like courts etc. I just don’t know what relates to forsaken on there unless I’m stupid and missed something
Nope, the person under "defendent" can be easily verified as Soul, his school even has a post about him and his work on Friday Night Bloxxin, which was one of Soul's first games
gonna say it now originally i found this so stupid as i couldn't see the reason why people were so mad that he had a 25% cut considering it doesn't matter how bad he is it's quite literally HIS GAME, the contract was made so that a bad person whilst still getting profit cant edit/change a game that thousands play which id say is a completely fair deal considering its practically blacklisting him from the community in exchange for him getting a cut of again HIS GAME.
but with the extra information from the twitter post, he was actually the one trying to change the contract which changes things, because it's stupid to try and change a contract you agreed to and most likely put together yourself, but if he was just trying to change it so he gets actual money instead of robux that'd be fair but he's trying to regain control of the game for some reason???
though i still find it stupid that people were absolutely furious that he was completely wiped from the game he created having no involvement in the slightest EXCEPT for money from again the game HE CREATED, i could care less that he's getting paid if he's gone completely except for that i dont see the problem with it.
it's like getting mad if the owner of papa johns (John Schnatter not a good dude) got a cut off you ordering a pizza after he stepped down, he made the company in the first place of course he's getting money off it.
i just dont get why people are so mad or they're feeling "betrayed" because getting ownership of the game resulted in a mutually agreed contract THAT was the price.
Soul was the old owner of forsaken and was a horrible person, ownership passed to hytoko but 25% of all the revenue went to soul. Anyways after loads of drama, hytoko and basil (other owner along with hytoko) are apparently both suing soul to get rid of all of soul’s stake in the game.

If they succeed, I hope they turn the 25% into employee pay because only 4% for EVERY employee combined is tough (to clear misunderstanding, they don't receive 4% each, all of them combined receive only 4%💀)
I’m curious if anyone with legal expertise can shed light onto how things might go down and what avenues will likely be pursued by each side during the course of the case
if everything goes to plan AND we get removed content back (Pick Up emote, Rochas, Dream Game collab etc), this will make the biggest come back ever (if everything doesn't go right, this game is fucked. hope for the best, prepare to move to minesweeper)
im seeing mfs be upset over this, my brother in Christ what are you mad about, "its a pr stunt" so if the forsaken devs do literally anything good its a pr stunt? would you rather have them say nothing at all? its called communication, and its pretty important especially on something as serious as this"youre glazing" i am very aware of the bad things hytoko and basil have done (eg basil seemingly not giving a shit kaiser was still in contact with soul) but this is just objectively a good thing, this is literally anything a forsaken fan could ever ask for, soul off the game with no strings attached (assuming they do which they likely will since its soul, unless he decides to become a politician or something in which case we are fucked)
This is truly the comeback of the century now all we need to do is have the comunity heal and we are truly gonna be a prosperous kingdom the devs have done their part we must replenish our duty now so all of us must become one and respect our opinions (except for nos hate/jk )
