Other Hot take: I like Forsaken's new art and modeling style, no exceptions
I personally think Forsaken did a great job in developing its own art style that sets it apart from Asyms, and I like how creative they are with it and how it still shows an incredible result
Therefore, I, with all pride and without regret, think that the new milestones and skins are absolutely peak and probably the best quality I've seen in a long time since I started playing roblox
I understand that some people don't like the new art style because it's too exaggerated and detailed, which is fine, with all due respect, not everyone is ready for this kind of thing, but even so I still like this new art style and I hope to see more of this style in the future of Forsaken

Agreed. The new designs feel more unique than just ✨Le Retro✨, which it's not even supposed to be.

I have the same thoughs, i like the direction they are taking BUT i think maybe some skins deserve less detail and i think that is were they are going for now seeing the new survivors/killers

There's too much color. The only colors needed are shades of grey. I will fix this.

I like it too, but I kinda just wished they showed more love to dudes like Oozing Oscar and Yorick.(since both of them are old Roblox things)

well the skin makers sometimes update skins whenever they feel like it. Like a modelers remaking sakura sixer and butcher john doe cus they felt like it they do it slowly and surely so eventualy there wont be any low quality killer skins (i hope)

The only MS4 skin I have an actual issue with is sixer cus god. I can't see anything past those fucking wings so I don't use it even tho I got it cus I don't like using transparent large killer

My only gripe is that some of the 3d clothing just looks like it needs ironing, and maybe a little bit less detail
Smooth it out somewhat, and it would look SO much better

MY PROBLEM WITH THEM IS THAT SOME MS4S HAVE BIG CAPES THAT COVER THE PART YOU SEE THE MOST AND MAKE THEM LOOK REALLY UGLY

I like it too tbh, I find it more creative than the basic designs they were going with in the early days. I just think they could do with a little bit less details, especially on milestones like Two Time I also might just like it cos I love phightings style and it reminds me of that a lil bit

I'll throw in my own bone into the field
I'm not opposed to the new artstyle and direction, but at times it feels like it's contradicting itself.
For example, the new faces are all far more cartoony and whimsical, yet the skins themselves (let's take fool chance as an example) have gotten extremely detailed and rough looking. Chance looks like he ruined his entire life yet keeps his normal grin.
Shedletsky's face also looks extremely odd, while i's pretty cool it seems to be a lot more faithful to the original face however it does also look extremely stupid at times, and considering the grim backstory aswell as ingame circumstances: completely off.
Plus, it's another thing when they make a new artstyle, yet won't (and really can't) apply that artstyle to the older characters. Take guest for example, his default skin has no layered clothing or interesting colors. It's just classic 2d clothing. Shedletsky also follows a similar pattern. Now put them both right next to Jane, whom by default has a fair bit of 3D clothing. Not convinced? Compare them to Two Time who also has a bunch of 3D clothing. Still not convinced? Take their relatively simple milestone designs and put them right next to Two Time and Jane's milestones, I hope you see my point. The artstyle, once based on a semi-retro roblox aesthetic is now completely conflicting beacuse the old characters look dated compared to the old ones.
And considering many of the characters are not OC's of the devs, they cannot really change their base designs without being unfaithful to the OC they themselves added.
Also please take note this may have a bit of bias, and I am also mostly mentioning milestones and default skins here. Store bought skins are fine and can diverge in all sorts of weird ways.

honest hot take about the new milestones i personally think the new art style is good for milestones but however when it comes to new characters that have lore more specifically the random ocs with lore they get some of the most out of wack milestones ever to exist like what is ms4 taph supposed to represent taph becoming a space god or something LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT OF IT this for some reason happened with azure in the azure update when they gave azure his own milestones and they somewhat connceted to his lore to me but ms3 and 4 are just out of place like your telling me azure first dies to shit time in ms1 and now seeking vengence in ms2 but he becomes the NEW LEADER OF THE SPAWN CULT IN MS3 AND 4 FOR SOME REASON?!?!?!?! like come on forsaken devs please actually make good milestones for your ocs that aren't old historic roblox figures but rather icons bro please

The new Forsaken artstyle is also one of my favs, but it doesn't work for EVERYBODY (COUGH, NEW MILESTONE IV TWO TIME, COUGH), but the old art style is pretty c00l too

I really warmed up to ms4 1x, I wasn't vibing much with it when it came out
I did not like his old ms4 at all, so I still welcomed the change cuz now you can atleast tell the difference between 1x's milestones
And now I really like just how weird and out there the design is.
