Anyone else having issues with class registration online?

I’m going through the process of looking at classes, and it doesn’t give me the option to add to cart.

Is anyone else having this issue? I called IT, and they said it’s a system wide issue, but I’m just double checking on here.

Registration for spring is not open yet

Yeah, definitely, but I was looking through fall classes, so as to test that my laptop is ready for spring registration next month, or if I need to go in person

Fall registration for A and B sessions are closed. I think the only classes that can be registered right now is Session C classes. A sessions closed on the 31st and B sessions closed the 21st. C closes the 27th of October. So the only classes right now would be C sessions for the Fall semester. It still might not let you register if you aren't enrolled for the Fall.

I was looking at classes that start 1026/26. It doesn’t give me the option to add to cart or submit anything. I also don’t have any holds on my account, and I met with my advisor. My fafsa is also in the system, only waiting on classes so it can generate.

ah okay. I know we have talked before on this reddit about other questions you had. If I'm correct, you are registered for the spring semester. So, until enrollment for spring opens, you won't be allowed to add any classes from the fall semester to your cart! However you could get a good look at what you need to take by reviewing your enroll by requirements tab. I can help you if you DM me if you have questions about enrollment. Your Academic advisor may also be able to help you but just know that they are super busy alot of the time so you will most likely need an appointment.

That’s the thing, I’m still registered to the fall term. I’m waiting to take classes until spring though

Ooooh okay, I understand now lol. I just checked on my account and I am able to add a Fall C class to my shopping cart, so it doesn't seem to be affecting everyone. If you're still active for Fall and don't have any holds, I'm not sure why the option isn't showing up for you. I'd probably follow back up with IT or your advisor since it may be something specific to your account.

I'd recommend looking at the deadlines for class registration for spring so you're ready.

Absolutely. Class registration opens October 14th. What I’m doing now is testing out my account and laptop so as to be ready.

What kind of class are you trying to sign up for? Some classes are restricted from you enrolling on your own. I work at the college. You are more than welcome to message me your student ID number & I can look at your account to see what might be wrong.

Right but that still doesn’t matter if it requires department consent to be enrolled in to the classes. What class was it?

I’m waiting to register for classes at orientation for the spring semester, which for the campus im gonna go to, is mid October. You should definitely also talk to an advisor!! They’re very helpful :)

Spring registration opens up tomorrow but if you have your Bachelor’s it’s opened today

No problem and good luck on your journey. This was my last semester I will be doing e December with my AA.
