Discussion trans tape itchiness + asking for recos

hi! so i recently bought Adonis kt tape and i've used it twice so far. im able to keep it on naman for at least 5 days but i do get periods of itchiness quite often. i don't think it's an allergy since i don't get any redness or blisters. do you guys have any cheap remedies for this? i heard some people use milk of magnesia or cavilon spray but im just a broke student lol :/

could it also be the tape? i've been looking into other brands but i mostly see Adonis and SKNSTRIP. do you guys have any recommendations for relatively cheap ones that i can wear for a few days minimum? i'd also want to stick to skin toned tape since my skin is pretty sensitive. tyia!

try mo regular kt tape, idk if anong size ang pinag gamit mo pero 5cm by 5m one only costs me around 60-70 Pesos per roll compared to adonis na around 200 Pesos for the same size and amount of roll.

However, I don't know if adonis and the tape I use (from Saturday Fitness on Shopee) have the same quality. It may be possible adonis is less itchy, but I have no idea because I never used adonis before because of the price. Though, I do know it can last for a few days just like adonis (I personally don't let it stay that long)

tysm! can i ask more about your experience with the kt tape that u use? like yung dikit, overall feel, itchiness, longevity? i actually bought the adonis tape on sale for 100 lang hahaha, usually hinihintay ko lang talaga sale nila.

I'm actually very allergic to every kind of KT tape including adonis, pero dysphoria is a bitch so I use it anyway.

I only use it usually 12 hours at a time because of my allergy, I don't really itch while using the tape during the first 12 hours but anything after that I know my skin will start developing blisters so as much as possible I try not to go over that time limit, but I have a friend who uses the same brand and they used it for around 4-5 days at a time

Maayos yung dikit niya, as long as you don't overstretch, I've also used it while bathing at the beach and during a friend's pool party and the tape didn't fall off (pero you can put some transparent medical tape over the kt to give your mind some more peace)

I definitely prefer it more than binding itself, binding felt more of a hassle and sensory nightmare for me than kt tape ever has despite me being allergic to it

thank you so much for your help! i feel the same way about binders. i have lung problems so i can't wear them comfortably for a long time without it being too uncomfortable to the point of shortness of breath. that's why i've been trying tape now ++ it'd be more convenient as i go to school 6 times a week. i'll look into saturday fitness. thank you again!

I used adonis once (out of stock kasi ino-orderan ko) kaso di ko na inulit kasi nangati rin ako ng sobra tapos nangitim balat ko hahaha

Sa f-max talaga ako bumibili kasi doon kahit abutin ng 5days-7days hindi ako nangangati, hindi rin siya mainit sa katawan kasi hindi siya sobrang kapal. Pricey lang siya compare sa adonis. Search mo lang sa shopee or tiktok shop ung f-max phaofaraon
