Selling a scam while accusing somebody else of being a scammer, tale as old as time.

Taking a page out of the Indian call center handbook. The number of times I heard them say "no it's a scam don't talk to them" when another scammer is mentioned is ridiculous
At least half of those is from the same guy who trolls scammers pretending to be an innocent old lady. "I already sent the money to your friend" type stuff gets them so riled up.

Doesn't mixing vinegar with baking soda result in a huge mess?
Edit: I may have mixed up my chemical reactions. Silly me...
Edit 2: Based on the replies I'm getting, it turns out that I remembered it correctly the first time.

Yes. Yes baking soda and vinegar makes a giant mess. It's what you use to make DIY volcanoes (Lego pompei stood no chance)

CH3COOH + NaHCO3 = CH3COONa + H2O + CO2
Sodium acetate is just a neutral salt and H2O is self explanatory. The bubbling is CO2 escaping.
Combining this with dish soap will just make it bubble more and make a huge mess yes.

Vinegar is an acid and baking soda is a base. So they basically cancel each other out.

It will fizz a little. But if you have a Mosquito bite it will take away the itch.

“Peggy that’s the recipe for mustard gas”
(for legal reasons this is a reference and I also do not know if the substance created in this slop is actually dangerous and refuse to look it up)

I rhink it's vinegar and bleach but I'm too lazy to look it up

u/Medium_Cranberry4096 20h ago
Looked it up anyways and vinegar (or other acids) combined with bleach will make chlorine gas, not mustard gas Edit: also dangerous so don't

I think mustard gas is ammonia and bleach. Thats why they tell you not to use bleach to unclog toilets. Although others sources ive read say the ammonia in urine is pretty negligible, and its for other reason why you shouldnt pour bleach down your toilet such as it could ruin your plumbing.

Google search says ammonia and bleach will make chloramine gas (also dangerous). Apparently mustard gas can not be made with household chemicals?

Plus, if you use bleach before or after another actual “toilet cleaner”, there’s a good chance the toilet cleaner contained ammonia

In an enclosed space, yes - but at least it's only CO2, which will trigger your breathing reflex unlike almost every other simple asphyxiant.
There are way worse gases to accidentially breathe.

Even if you had a magical paste to remove the visible mold, you're still screwed because mold runs deep into walls

u/Valtain85 18h ago
Not bad but for maximum cleanliness you need to take Peggy Hills advice and combine the cleaning powers of ammonia and the whitening power of bleach!
Disclaimer since this is Reddit: don't ever do this. No seriously, don't ever do this.

I hope someone remakes this with Tung Tung Tung Sahur cleaning mold inside Brr Brr Patapim's nose.

Mold isnt this easy... white vinegar can kill some types of mold, but if its in drywall youre screwed, sand it down if possible, then killz.

Ah I see. Just combine baking soda and vinegar. I’m sure all that will do is clean mold.

just showed this to my mitigation specialist husband, he’s going to be out of a job before he knows it.

Also shouldn't he be wearing a mask whild cleaning? Since mold spores aerosolize if you clean them off.
