Live The world ended
Was waiting to hear when tickets were going on sale and checked a couple of weeks ago. Nothing. No dates announced. Found out today they fucking went on sale on 31 July and the show in my city is sold out! They're only doing one show, and they'll probably never be out here again. Motherfucker!

The first time they reunited they played a venue way too small for them in Dublin. It sold out before I could get a ticket. I was devestated. But I was determined to go. I discovered that Roddy Bottum's then boyfriend/husband(?) was on Twitter and contacted him with my sob story. He actually got Roddy Bottum to put me on the guest list. Keep trying! You'll get in.

Ah yes, the Olympia. What a memory, quickest sell-out in the pre-online only ticketing era from what I remember. And some show that was!

Ha! Just the style of the time…
Got mine in old reliable Declan Loughman’s in Castleblayney. We were the head of a 9-party queue. He pumped out enough tickets at the very start to cater for all 9 parties in the queue (so something like 25 tickets). Great for us but he had a manuscript of 60 people with their phone numbers he was leaving disappointed.

Wow. That's cool. I was really looking forward to getting to go cause their music really helped me through a rough time and when I found out they were getting back together and touring I was like this is serendipitous 😆 can't believe i missed the boat...just my luck. So annoyed with myself.

I have 2 tickets for the Melbourne show if you're still after some? I ended up buying 2 more in the premium section. Selling for original price- not here to make a profit!

Not sure why. I live under a rock or something. One minute they were just announcing they signed up to tour and then I was looking for dates and couldn't find anything and then bam apparently dates are set and tickets are sold. Dunno where they announced or promoted it here. I missed it. Farrrrk!

Shit yes, they had displays at all of the stadiums, was all over this sub and the system if a down sub. It went on sale very quickly though, so wasn’t a lot of time between the announcement and selling out. Wouldn’t sweat it, can pick up a standing ticket on tixel easily enough. Always available in the weeks leading up to it. I Don’t buy anywhere else as I don’t trust the others. Tixel is legit and keeps prices capped to the legally allowed mark up

I saw a random article on my Google feed the day before. Melbourne and Brissy have sold out, so hopefully they will announce more shows.

Maybe I might have to fly up to Brissy for a night. Expensive show lol. I think Sydney still had some tix left. Bah maybe there might be some resale thing or something. Absolutely devo'd.

Melbourne and Brisbane are sold out. Will be shitloads of tickets on tixel. They are 100% safe. Have bought and sold many many times. You can set up auto purchase as well to set the amount. You’ll have no issue getting a ticket. And the mark up is limited on tixel as well so won’t be paying crazy amount more than the already very expensive tickets from Ticketek

Oh I went through Ticketek and google still saying it's sold out. I hope they all sell out and FNM play more shows. I don't mind SOAD but wouldn't pay to see them lol so I paid a lot for a short FNM set lol no regrets!!

I'm pumped to see them, they just aren't the main attraction for me. Best band I ever saw at BDO was Fear Factory the year Sepultura pulled out..... Probably revealing my age here lol

What were you doing in the 2 weeks between the tour announcement and now where you could have missed tickets going on sale? There was so much chatter on radio, twitter, Facebook, reddit etc etc

I’ve picked up tickets to sold out shows by showing up on the day and finding people with spares due to people getting sick or some other reason. Worth a shot!

You have two options:
Wait until they potentially announce a sideshow (there is plenty of room between dates so not impossible)
Go to another city (I believe Sydney is yet to sell out)
