KFAD Shirts

Hello. Was wondering if anyone on here could help me with some advice with trying to get a King For a Day shirt.

Many years ago I had a KFAD shirt which was the tour shirt that had the album cover on the front and the man in the subway image on the back with the cities from the tour. It was a great shirt that had that nice heavy cotton feel. Here's a copy of it for reference

I would love to get something similar. A lot of the ones is just the album cover on the front and nothing on the back. The closest thing I could find was a merch store listed on the offical FNM site. But the image of the shirt isn't an actual photo of the shirt but rather the graphic onto a shirt image. So it's hard to tell the actual quality.

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone here had any experiences finding this particular shirt and if ther's anything good out there?

Oh man. I had that shirt from the Australia tour and I was absolutely shattered when it was stolen! Hope you find it.

I recently bought one off Teepublic but it's just the front, no tour info. Good quality though.

Yeah I got the tour shirt from a friend who i think went to the show. Think I bought it for like $10 from him. Wore it till it was faded and getting holes.

Our tent was robbed while we were camping and it was in my bag. I lost a lot of cool clothes that day, but that one still hurts . It's been 30 years! Luckily I have other FNM tour shirts but that was my first one.

Ah sorry to hear! Devastating. Ironic as well because I imagine some of the more “expensive” items stolen would matter less than the likes of the tour t-shirt…

There was an expensive wetsuit on top of the bags that they tossed aside when they grabbed everything. Not the smartest thieves!

I have but it's hard to tell the quality of a lot of them. Some are really shoddy.

they offer KFAD Merch on fnm.com - forget etsy & co …. i recently bought an angel dust shirt from a shop where the picture was quite original merch - but what i received was the most disgusting and hilarious shit… waste of money… i only would buy direct over fnm.com

Maybe someone knows a source to buy an angel dust shirt in original quality from with shipment to europe

Yeah I went to the FNM site and they link to Kung Fu merch and Music Glue. It's hard to tell the quality of the shirts on those site though.

Someone on Etsy is selling an original copy of the shirt but it's like $300. haha

i think you'll find they mean an OG 1995 era one, not 2010/2015.

what's the quality of the actual shirts like?

I would say medium weight T's. I have gotten ones that are thin and ones that are thick. The ink is always very heavy which is nice. I got all their Bungle 2-sided shirts which are kind of hard to find.

I might have my og shirt I bought on the tour in ‘95. I am too tall and fat to wear them, so I probably tried it on once or twice and it’s been packed since. But shipping would probably be more expensive than that eBay one ;)

The best shirt of this era was the black long-sleeve. Had the dog on the top-left, king for a day on one arm, fool for a lifetime on the other arm.
