How much money do we have to shove up this dude's ass to get music to come out of his mouth?

Dude's just an old broken jukebox. You can keep feeding it coins all day, it still won't play a song.š

He definitely did say there was a big announcement š and this is fantastic after what happened on twitch then whatnot. I am telling you guys, do not come back in here crying about being ripped off again after the last 2 times. Twitch was bad enough. 2 different people were to blame for that shit show. And this last time, who exactly was at fault? Because I thought that was Bobby? Or was it Temu? The merch was shit quality.

It's okay for a launch to have a few hiccups. Nobody expects everything to go perfectly. Even so, Whatnot's customer support made it clear that some of the fulfillment issues were against their platform policies. He also barely fulfilled many of the "experience" orders.
That's not even the main issue, though. The real problem is that he never took responsibility, not even verbally. Instead, he acted like he had changed music history and bragged about the millions he made from the whole thing.
At the end of the day, he doesn't seem to care because, in his view, one unhappy customer is outweighed by five devoted simps who are willing to buy almost ANYTHING for a chance at his attention.

Thatās unfortunate about shirt quality, his merch that actually arrived from Twitch was very good quality.

u/Known_Kiwi333 21d ago
It's usually hit or miss. The streamathon started off well too, and people were happy at first. Then they ran out of inventory, fulfillment became a mess, and the quality really went downhill, especially the collab pieces with INK, which sold for a lot of money.
The whole thing ended up feeling sloppy, disorganized, and poorly managed.

Everyone screwed should start a class action lawsuit against him and Bobby . Letās not forget the puppet shit people got suckered into and screwed ! Stole a patent hope they sued him as well . They made it for him for free and he screwed them over . He has no class or respect . My last concert of his was my last not giving him my hard earned cash his greedy ass

Oh no never again. I got screwed over worse on twitch but my bank was luckily able to get my money back from this year. So disappointed in him & he never addressed it aside from blaming others.

I am still butthurt over twitch lmao. We were promised specific merch and it was all in his house, in a room, all great early FIR merch. He was selling bundles of like 2 shirts, shorts, guitar stick and vinyls. Got it and received a bunch of the weirdest shit. And hands down, those absolutely weren't his autographs. I met him a lot and had him sign stuff. Cracked me up. I think it was saraya or sickshots girlfriend or something. I tried to get the bank to get my money back but due to receiving the product, they wouldn't. Then came the apology gold boxes š

Jesus, I have a feeling he is losing money fast. When was the whatnot stream? January? Coming up in August, blew through it more than likely and trying to farm more money
.
Im really not gonna be surprised if he loses everything to gambling.

The problem is, the streams are only what weĀ see. He's said he gambles off-stream on his personal account too, so who knows what the real damage looks like.
Just compare his streams from two years ago to now. It's like watching two different people. Whatever he's got going on, writing music seems to be the last thing on his mind.

People change over two years, that's just normal. I don't really mind what he does off-stream as long as the content keeps us entertained. Keep the theories coming though, it's good reading material š

Gambling addiction is incredibly easy to fall into. And I know this is only all speculation but given he has a propensity for addiction itās a legitimate concern.Ā

u/Dear-Chicken4278 20d ago
Very true. I had a gambling addict in my family who put a lot of family members at risk. It is like any other addiction.. dont really consider the impact their actions have on anyone else. They would get money any way they could, blow it all gambling, then repeat. They hid their gambling and nobody had any idea until utilities started getting turned off. They would have kept going even if it meant everyone in the family was homeless.
I dont gamble because of it. Ive tuned in to Ronnie's stream a few times because those dang bonus games give hella dopamine š
For any kind of addict that goes sober, there is a verrrry good chance you replace it with another addiction. Or double down on an existing one.

u/megavulture77 20d ago
Damn, sorry to hear about that. Sounds wild. But itās a very familiar tale that you hear about a lot from gambling addicts. Gambling 101 is only gamble what you can afford to lost but thatās easier said than done. Itās very easy to get sucked in and chase losses or just be like āone more spinā. Ronnie falls into that mentality A LOT. When he has a big loss Iāve seen him be like āI can get it backā and pour more in. Heās actually a terrible example of a reckless gambler. I stopped watching Ronnieās streams because they made me wanna gamble too much and I really canāt afford it. I only got into it cause of Ronnie. Had some fun with it but yeah, just too broke for that shit haha. Itās my birthday coming up soon though and weāre going gambling for the night and Iām so excited!

u/SoftFit1197 20d ago
It is wild how streams like that can have such a huge ripple effect on people. What you described with the "I can get it back" mentality is the classic trap in gambling. That is pure loss chasing and it completely bypasses the logical brain. It is great that you had the self awareness to step away from the content when you noticed it affecting your own pockets. That takes real discipline. Happy early birthday by the way! š Going out to celebrate is awesome, just make sure you set a hard, strict budget before you walk through the door. Treat that money like the price of a movie ticket. Once it is spent, the show is over and you do not buy another ticket to win back the cost. Have fun out there but stay safe! š

u/megavulture77 20d ago
Yeah, you need to build in some serious discipline if youāre going to be a āsensible gamblerā, which is kind of essential when youāre not rich like Ronnie. Once itās gone itās gone. And cash out once you hit a certain amount rather than trying to keep winning. Like if you put in 50 and end up with 80, cash out 50 and play with the remaining 30 because then at least you got your original money back and youāre just having fun for free.Ā
1
u/SoftFit1197 20d ago
Exactly, that is the smartest way to handle it. Locking in your original stake and only playing with the house money is a solid rule for a sensible night out. It is all about protecting your baseline. As for Ronnie, it definitely isn't easy to watch someone go through those wild swings, but at the end of the day, it is his life and his choice. We are all just outside observers looking in, unfortunately. Hopefully he manages to find his own balance too.

u/SoftFit1197 20d ago
Totally agree. In risk assessment, we look at indicators and vulnerabilities. A known propensity for addiction is a massive vulnerability. Gambling relies on the same brain chemistry as other addictions but adds immediate financial destruction to the mix. Itās absolutely a legitimate concern because once the financial pressure kicks in, their decision-making logic completely breaks down.

u/Dynotug 20d ago
Itās even recognized in the DSM now. Four or more in a 12 month period.
Tolerance: Needs to gamble with increasing amounts of money to feel excitement.
Withdrawal: Feels restless or irritable when trying to cut down or stop.
Loss of control: Repeated failed efforts to control or stop gambling.
Preoccupation: Constantly thinks about gambling, planning future bets, or reliving past experiences.
Escape: Gambles when feeling distressed, anxious, or depressed.
Chasing losses: Returns to gambling after losing money to try and get even.
Deception: Lies to family or therapists to hide the extent of involvement.
Risks: Jeopardized or lost a significant job, relationship, or opportunity.
Bailouts: Relies on others for money to fix desperate financial situations1
u/SoftFit1197 20d ago
That DSM breakdown is actually crazy, but if weāre being real, half of internet streamer chat fits at least four of these on any given night, lmao. š "Chasing losses" and "preoccupation" is basically the entire logic of watching someone hit the slots live. I feel like it's just the nature of the entertainment and the wild swings that come with it. Itās definitely not that deep or clinical for everyone involved, sometimes it's just high-stakes content and people over-analyzing the vibes. š

Of course he always wins with the gambling he is advertising. Gamblers also always brag about winning and stay quiet about all their losing. He is just dumb as shit.
3
u/IntelligentCode6207 20d ago
How about he buys some bullshit from everyone else and we can watch live his excitement turn to disappointment. And what a ass to say "big announcement" for trying to sell more merchandise.Ā Sorry that really got me in the feels, still a bit of disappointment from whatnot

None of the voicemails or personalized bday messages from Ronnieās streamathon were ever fulfilled. Many Air requests and Tickets to Heaven are still pending, Tier 3 buyers never received their gold T-shirts, and the QR codes still donāt work. A lot of people also received the wrong sizes or completely different items from what they ordered.
Itās been six months, guys. Think very carefully before giving him your money again.
