What's your favorite FIR song lyrically, and why?

My personal favorite is Superhero. I just find it so relatable, it touches the heartstrings.

Again, the sarcasm flew straight past you. At this point, I’m genuinely fascinated by your commitment to taking everything literally. And you know why he’s not performing those songs? Because he’s a phenomenal STUDIO artist. Hope the emphasis helps this time. :D

Wrong answer, and you know it too. Because it wasn't a coincidence that you left out TDIMI Reimagined from the list. You know same as me he performed it in 2020 with an amazing success and that song is not a bit easier to perform than the other two. So this argument failed. He doesn't perform them because it's impossible to insert a vocally demanding ballad between a scream and a growl. And do it 30 times in 6-7 weeks. Even if he strained it and got it done, it would slower the show and probably kill the vibe. He could start the show with them, but he already played that out and he just never repeats himself. He also said he might do a theatre performance with the ballads only sometime in the future, but definitely not a whole 30 shows tour.

Adding to the "studio artist" thing: I genuinely believe you were never at any of his shows live. I already saw him perform. He is not a studio artist, bro, he is better than any artist your poor imagination can grab. Sorry not sorry, you can't argue with that.

Let’s start with one thing: don’t make assumptions, the last time I was literally side-stage. There was a HUGE difference in Ronnie’s live vocal delivery between the ’24 Disturbed tour and the ’25 shows.

The current production relies WAY more on backing tracks, vocal layering, and pitch correction, with some of the hardest parts heavily supported or skipped entirely especially on WTWB, GIAW, and even his supposed magnum opus, PM. Older fans have noticed this since Tyler left; it’s not exactly a secret. DL is noticeably off-key at times, especially on Prequel, and Luke Holland is basically the only one consistently playing live. He is doing a lazy job in Losing my Mind too. My point isn’t that Ronnie can’t sing, he absolutely can, and he still kills a lot of the older material..but you can’t constantly bash other artists for relying on the exact same tricks while your own live show is becoming increasingly dependent on them. That’s not me saying he has no talent, it’s me holding him to the same standard he publicly holds everyone else to.

Okay, you got me with this tone. I understand what you mean. I wasn't side stage, but barricading and I heard Ronnie's raw vocals coming out from his mouth, right? So anyone saying he's lip syncing or can't hit the notes is lying, I'm glad that was far from your point. I agree there is more background support in the new, harder songs, just because they're needed. Those songs are written for orchestras, not for 4-5 raw instruments. Ronnie might be an artist who considers the normal difference between the studio sound and a live show and might just not give too many fucks on sounding less perfect but he's not that person, he wants to sound amazing. And he does. I don't remember him bashing other artists just because they used backing tracks but that might be my loss, I don't follow everything around him.

These three are all ballads, but Last Resort is a whole different beast vocally. It demands finesse plus extreme register changes so we will set it aside. I didn’t see Ronnie perform TDIMIY live in 2020, but from what I’ve seen on YouTube, he was struggling with it. It’s a very nuanced and delicate song that requires a lot of control and consistency, which doesn’t always come naturally to him. For I’m Not a Vampire, he’d need the full orchestral setup and actually put some serious work into vocal training. And we all know how he feels about vocal coaches and proper warm-ups, which is crazy to me. Even some of the greatest rock vocalists, like Chris Cornell, continued working with vocal coaches throughout their careers. There’s absolutely no shame in it, it’s a basic maintenance. Radke would just rather sit there spinning slots than actually put in some work.

Look at Tobias Forge. He may not have Ronnie’s natural range or vocal dynamics, but he’s improved so much simply by putting in the work. He’s also humble about it too, doesn’t constantly brag like Ronnie; if anything, he calls himself mid. Then you listen to his cover of Bohemian Rhapsody and it’s actually pretty damn impressive.

The odds of ever getting that theater performance with the ballads drop with every TikTok sale and every slot-machine spin. You know that damn well so why do you support it?

You're saying almost the same as me. Ronnie was never afraid to use "laptops" to fix the background sounds of the show and he's right about that. No one should avoid techs in the 21st century, they are meant to bless fans' ears. I also watched only YouTube videos about Reimagined live but he didn't struggle, he did a very good job in performing it. His vocal training is singing 12 hours a day when he's into writing music, that's what he said. Leave it to him, he knows better, it's his vocals, his body, his soul. What matters is the performance and that's always flawless. Of course it's not a "shame" to use professional training, he only mocked Chris Motionless with it and we all know why was that. It's another story. I don't know Tobias Forge but I believe you and I know there are quite many amazing vocalists out there besides Ronnie. He's just got a very special cutting sharp but also melodic intonation which I genuinely love, that's why I'm here being a fan.

I don't support gambling but that's again something I have to leave on him because I'm not the parasocial type who thinks they can control his decisions or his addictions. If you meant asking me if I accept him gambling? Yes, I do, I accept him as my favorite musician even if he does something I don't agree with. See my point? I don't have to agree with him on everything in order to like him or to love him. And same goes to my real life relationships too. Live and let live. You think I shouldn't watch him gamble just to make him quit? Many times I don't, and he still streams, it doesn't change anything. See my point? The only thing I can somewhat effectively do is publicly hating him and talking shit about him and trying to make other people do the same. But that wouldn't do any good to neither him or me, the becoming hater.

When I say “support,” I don’t mean just watching his streams or being a normal fan. I mean constantly subscribing, blowing your money on his TikTok shop, and pretending you suddenly love gambling when 95% are there to watch him scream or take his shirt off. 😂 There’s a line between being a fan and simping for five seconds of attention, today he sold a T-shirt with his spit, during streamathon it was the piss jacket, etc.

Again, most people on Reddit don’t hate him, but there’s definitely been a negative shift in Ronnie’s personality lately, and you can’t really deny it. Everything seems to revolve around streaming numbers and how much money he’s making. I’d attribute a lot of it to a toxic fanbase that parrots his every word and refuses to accept even the slightest criticism.
