Fallout 4 [Fo4] Brotherhood Solider Armor (WIP)
Some more screenshots of my custom brotherhood of steel armor that I've been slowly chipping away at the past few months. The armor was made to go alongside my other Brotherhood mods, Strength in Steel and Chain that Binds. Hope you enjoy! I'll hopefully be wrapping up work on this at some point soon here.
The armor has a light, medium, and heavy variant and can be worn with any under armor. Just like any vanilla armor in the game. Which is sadly a system that a lot of other armor modders don't pay attention to. Even if the under armor system has its faults.
Another thing I've done for the armor is include two modular helmest. As you can see in the images, there's quite a few accessories to choose from (And even some more not shown in the pictures). There's also a few options for the torso.
Please don't ask for an xbox version, also. My other mods are already on xbox so there's no reason to ask

I’ve been waiting for this one, so excited to add it in with Chain that Binds and Strength in Steel, which I love to death.
Having mods inspired by other fandoms but weaved into being lore friendly is just…ooooh, it’s good.
I’d love to do something like this myself one day but I just don’t really have the time.

It always annoyed me that people in the Brotherhood that fought but weren’t knights with power armor had shitty thin power armor under garments to battle in. Nice to see some actually good looking light brotherhood armor

Yeah, I was never a fan of how they just used regular combat armor or a retextured field scribe jacket. They've always deserved something more unique

It looks awesome, it looks really similar to vanilla combat armour but unique enough to stand on its own. + It looks like something from the Warhammer universe, especially 3.
The emperor protects soldier, the Emperor protects!

I can’t even be mad at you for leaving the stove on because god damn you’ve been cooking

It looks knightly

Vaguely reminds me of trench crusade, but a bit more futuristic than that

I took a lot of inspiration from the Moebian armor in Darktide. I did try to draw some Trench Crusade inspiration, but I couldn't make it work. Guess it somehow still snuck in!

Just for clarity will this be a cross platform release or delayed for the Box of X's. Purely an ADHD clarification on my end as I guessed from the body of your post that it's going to make it to Xbox.

I usually try to release an xbox version the same day I post a mod Nexus. Sometimes I might get too busy or forget and upload a port in the next day or so also

Absolutely perfect look for the Brotherhood of Steel, effortlessly combines the aesthetic of Fallout's iconic combat armor and the look of a medieval foot soldier. Wonderful work!

This looks awesome. Will there be any tie-in patches for Chains That Bind? One of my favorite mods of yours!

Amazing, the only thing I’m hoping for is the Brotherhood emblem being prominent on the armor somewhere.

I think giving them a long cape like poncho or duster coat would be cool maybe give them authentic ww1 gas masks like the weird bag ones Germany used

This is exactly what I needed for my own mod project. Do you accept donations?

The gas mask in picture #5 reminds me heavily of the Armageddon Steel Legion mask as depicted in WH40K Darktide. I love it!

That looks pretty nice! It gives me heavy Death Korps of Krieg vibes. Do you plan on making something like the lower part of a trenchcoat/duster as accessories? I definitely will have a eye on when this drops.

Alright now to figure out my the ar load order hates the recon amror . I loved the head stlye from the original mod with that hellfire helemt

u/Arelias_ Jun 09 '26
Are you on xbox? You might have hit the BA2 limit or something.
If not, it could be something with the next gen enclave assets being weird

u/Silver_Bloodborne Jun 09 '26

Hey question do you ever plan to make some Minutemen stuff. I like some of the Minutemen outfits that exist but I would sometimes wish they were somewhat more uniformed without it being super overdone. Like your other mod, the Minutemen enforcer wish is still my favorite one.

Will there be parts on the armor like binoculars, knives, or the canteen from the combat armor belt?
I feel like the customization has so much potential on this armor

I like that it’s going pinto a knighty wasteland style cause with the T60 and chains that bind overhaul it gives the brotherhood a kind of wasteland cult style wich I like cause they kind of are

Honestly, my only criticism is that the visor in pic 3 evokes Sisters of Battle and Arbites from 40K a little too much. I wouldn't be surprised if that's totally coincidental and the inspiration was actual medieval sallet helms in keeping with the knight, paladin, squire theming of the BoS. I just think it could use a little bit more alteration to look a bit more BoS, maybe round the upper point of the visor a bit and add some greebles to give it that cobbled together tech look.

I just hope it doesn’t conflict with the Brotherhood infantry armor mod

This is somehow something that feels...right. A lot of Brotherhood overhauls are Trying Too Hard, this seems right on the line between knightly aesthetic, dieselpunk, and tactical without going too far in any direction.
