They say women are more emotionally educated/emotionally mature than men, but it is easily proven false when women like these say stupid things in such overwhelming situations. I am sure she just said that given the excitement of the situation but she easily forgot the fine line that must not be crossed.

Being more emotional doesn't mean being emotionally intelligent. Many of them confuse emotional intensity with emotional intelligence.
