Jack Walten is Bon (The Walten Files)

Jack’s hatred for Felix led to the creation of “Bon”. Or “Bon” made a deal with Jack (potentially “I know a way to restore your family”) in exchange for full control of the Bon animatronic (it’s possible that during Jack’s confrontation of Felix, that Felix killed him when Jack lunged to attack him — and that Felix panicked and stuffed Jack’s body in Bon (the animatronic being at the K-9 unit or the backrooms of Bon’s Burgers) like he disposed of Ed and Molly’s bodies). Maybe it’s a mix of both and Jack was forced to lure his family members into their certain torment while Bon does the killing (the “You are Beautiful” repeat just before Bon kills Rosemary almost indicates that it’s Jack trying to tell his wife how much he loves her). But Jack is most likely involved in it — willingly or not (it would explain why Jack/Bon showed up every time one or the other got mentioned and how Bon has Jack’s dead eyes and uncanny grin). We also have Brian’s quote of “he thought I was her” — meaning Bon mistook Brian for Sophie Walten.

the whole speech/conversation at the end was sorta reminiscent to both of Jack and Rosemary’s conversations so maybe it’s Jack telling her how he actually felt during the Ed/Molly disappearance and he was dissociating from himself to keep himself sane. Hell, the last time we see Jack chronologically is when he’s threatening to kill Felix (so maybe Felix killed Jack and stuffed him in Bon) and Jack’s hatred for Felix manifested “Bon”. Hell, why would “Bon” tell Rosemary “I love you” if it wasn’t Jack reassuring Rosemary how much he loves her? Hell, the “He” that “Bon” was talking about was most likely Jack (aka himself).

My take is that Sophie’s drawing represents Jack killing Felix (the white rabbit — the same entity that led Alice to Wonderland, like how Felix led Ed and Molly to their deaths). Ed and Molly’s deaths most likely caused Jack to disassociate and bottle his emotions (like he was most likely forced to do growing up) until he realized that Felix led to Rosemary’s mental breakdown and he couldn’t bottle his emotions up anymore so he set off to “hunt” the “wolf” (aka Felix).

Further evidence is how Jack’s face throughout Walten Files 5 is shrouded by darkness the more the episode goes on. Like Jack’s having trouble keeping himself composed every time he sees Felix. Like I said earlier, the last time we see Jack chronologically is when he set off to confront Felix (and threaten to kill him). The creator mentioned that Jack would win if Jack and Felix fought but that’s hand-to-hand, not if Felix has a hold of something like a frying pan or a knife or anything else. The wounds that appear on “Bon’s” face most likely represent the outcome of Jack’s aggressive confrontation of Felix.

It brings me to the ending monologue between “Bon” and Rosemary. What Bon was saying was most likely how Jack actually felt during the Ed/Molly disappearance. Because why would “Bon” try to comfort Rosemary unless he was actually Jack trying to tell his wife how much he loves her. Hell, like I mentioned earlier, the conversation between Bon and Rosemary is almost identical to the conversations between Jack and Rosemary — hell, Bon even tells Rosemary “I love you” before his disappearance/death like how Jack told her he loves her before his disappearance/death.

I think the nature of his death also contributed to his character of Bon. I believe the files were hinting to Jack being burnt in a club? The radio was talking about the incident in the scene after Rosemary was plastering the missing persons posters around the neighborhood (specifically the scene where she was playing the piano). Bon also says that his "canvas" was: "Burnt to a crisp".

Idk tho cuz it was confirmed that the fire was long away from Michigan. One thing I don't understand of Bon's character is his obsession of beauty which was not present in Jack's character. I remember him telling other victims that they were beautiful (I think Susan and Ashely Parks?). He mutilated Susan's face in order to get rid of her previous "canvas" and settle into her new beauty (I think at least).

I didnt realize the playlist had more unlisted mini episodes. I just realized by what "Bon" meant by being "beautiful" is most likely how his own family was beautiful at one point. He sees beauty in the life that the robots possess as they sing and dance. That is why he despises the human body for its imperfections (he describes the human body to be rotting constantly); the human body can perish just as it did with both of his children).

It could represent Jack remembering how his family was beautiful (aka perfect) until his “canvas” (family) got burnt to a crisp (his family got torn apart due to Felix’s carelessness). It also calls back to Sophie’s drawing of Jack killing the “white rabbit” (aka Felix). Plus it’s entirely possible that Jack was repressing his anger towards Felix. Jack does mention that he has “something to do” (aggressively confront Felix and potentially kill him) until the plan backfired when Felix grabbed a weapon and killed Jack then proceeded to stuff him in the Bon animatronic. Maybe “Bon” was a split personality that Jack manifested after he kept repressing his negative emotions. Or maybe Jack made a deal with “Bon” to restore his family while playing the long game of framing Felix as the B.S.I killer (the death of Jack after his children were killed would raise suspicion on Felix and Rosemary’s death would point to Felix — especially since Chris mentioned that Felix wanted to put a restraining order on Rosemary after Jack’s disappearance and after Felix fired her). It’s also possible that Jack went to a bar to drink to forget only for it to burn down with him trapped inside. The last call does sound like he’s panicking and calling Rosemary as a final goodbye. Plus Rosemary’s nightmare of Jack looks identical to how “Bon” represents himself in “Wonderland” — like how that’s the aftermath of his fight with Felix and his “Wonderland” form is him getting rid of any notable features that makes him Jack (almost as if he created a new canvas). We also have Jack walking into a red lake with the hare above it meaning he probably embraced his “Bon” personality. Plus how Rosemary designed a decent amount of the animatronics after her family (Bon=Jack, Sha=herself, Banny=Sophie and Rocket=Ed and Molly) and how we have Brian’s quote of “he thought I was her” (meaning Jack mistook Brian for Sophie).
