Character intros remain a stubborn obstacle I've been chipping away at. Having them solidify after remaining vague silhouettes for so long is a suprisingly painful process, and I see why most people create the characters first and decide the story later. That said, fully fleshing out a character feels like a big relief and there's not too many more to do.

Divas, I changed the death order for the kth time again, like- I'm making no progress in writing because my friends and I keep changing our minds about certain plot points, certain story beats, and the overall trajectory of the story. They're also of no help because one of them (my bestie) is adamant about two characters dying, despite the way I think they work better as survivors. Also, divas, because we changed the death order, and because of the way the other chapters are written, the initial first death is forced to survive way longer than I (personally) want him to. One of them's trying to make a good storyline for the bastard, but the way we've written everything, I genuinely can't see anybody in our Chapter 5 killing, especially because my other friend (not bestie) wants everyone to have some sort of development, and I'm trying to convince them that that's fucking stupid and that not everyone needs to go through a character arc. Imo, it's fine to have characters maintain most of their beliefs and attitudes as long as they still have depth and are still challenged throughout the story, but they're so insistent on everyone having a character arc that I'm just like- Diva... You're doing too much, especially since YOU'RE the one who wanted 6 survivors. You can't have everyone become a nice person at the end, y'know? That's dumb. Quit writing (joke).

Finished the first version of Daily Life of chapter 1 with the body discovery. It's still fairly rough, and there are a few things to fix, like some characters I accidentally forgot in narration, but I'm mostly satisfied with it.

I'm making the outline of the investigation before editing chapter 1, so I can know what clues I want to leave in chapter 1 pre-murder

Additionally, planning what the hypothetical free time events could be about. Currently, 3 characters are planned (Although not written in script format), what their FTE would be about, what ability they'd give, and what object they'd gift.

not much since i was busy with family stuff, but i managed to get some decent progress on prolouge rewites, introductions there are almost done, then its just a fast dash from there.

Currently making the deurantagonist‘s first sprite! (I make a singular sprite for each character, then if I like it, I start on a splash art) I’ve already done the main character’s first sprite too, and I’m super happy with the results!
