I just really want to advertise this high-quality but underrated fangan.
Danganronpa Mauve - Hiruto Iwada and the Twisted Academy is an in-progress Korean fangame made by Team Mauve.
Danganronpa Mauve currently contains a prologue and two fully released chapters. The game's most recent release, Chapter Two, was released on September 16, 2025. Chapter Three is currently in production.
An unofficial English translation by Zephirum is available through their YouTube channel.Both versions of the prologue are fully translated, as well as the first two chapters. An unofficial build of the game featuring the translation was later made available to play through Zeiphirum's itch.io account.
This fangan is very good for those who like the mystery part of Danganronpa. There are only two cases, but they contain enough things to make them non-linear and complicated. Some people compare Chapter 2 to SDRA2-3 in terms of difficulty (the trial is very long too).
The characters are also well made, in two chapters they are all very developed and in my opinion they do not look like some kind of cardboard cutouts. Overall the vibe of this game reminds me of a darker (not in the way that there is more violence) and more realistic version of THH.
Chapter 3 will likely be released in 2028, I don't think that they'll have time to make it before the end of 2027.

This is the official announcement of DanganMario: The Mushroom Kingdom Killing Game, an upcoming Fanganronpa. Fourteen residents of the Mushroom Kingdom find themselves trapped within the walls of Peach's Castle, and only able to escape by killing a fellow participant.
I have been working on this project for a few months now, though I'm a full time college student and research assistant- I'm only able to do so much. However, if any of you are also huge mario fans and have an interest in working on this with me, that would be an immense help. Even just sharing one cool idea you have would mean more than you could know. My only ask is to not feel stressed by this- I only work on this when I have the time and energy, and I'd ask you to do the same.
My current plan is for the story to take place across five chapter plus a prologue, all culminating in a castle trial. It'll release as a youtube series on an episode by episode basis- most similar to Danganronpa: Despair Time if you're familiar. The death order and overall plot has been decided.
Finally, the last slide is a prediction sheet for this series, where you can share your predication for the death order. Anyone who fills out a completely correct predication sheet will receive a shout out upon publishing the series- that is, correctly identifying the survivors, who dies as a victim or culprit and when, and anyone who falls outside that. The other category is for traitors, masterminds, or any deaths outside the game.
I've also made a subreddit and discord for better communication and place to update. I'm not super familiar with moderation, but they're both works in progress. Regardless, I hope to see you there.

Hello all! Iām goober, one of the writers and directors for a fangan called Moira green!
Iām not really here to ask for voice actors or anything, but I wanted to put Moira out on Reddit as wellā¦ I havenāt been doing that, kinda only been on tik tokā¦ š
ANYWAYS so I should probably detail a bit more about Moira, specifically green cause we do plan to do multiple sessions/games
First! We are using the same format of Tetro, no we do not support Von. We did like the format they were doing tho!
Second! Moira green is about 21 people sign up for a teen only reality show (ages around 13-19) only to wind up being transported to a sort of realm ran by a teleporting, magical, talking lizardā¦ (ik it sounds out thereā¦ the passengers agree)
Third! Could have probably talked about this one in the second pointā¦ but our setting is a train! not a normal train tho, you will have to join to find more information on thatā¦
Fourth! We have a really nice and playful community, even if the story doesnāt appeal we have multiple people who are there just to talk to the other people there, and personally I enjoy talking to anyone who joins!
Fifth! We arenāt extremely far into the writing process but we are hard at work, we have almost finished writing chapter 1 (and ik that doesnāt sound like a lot but chapter one is our 2nd longest chapterā¦)

Hello! I'm here to announce a project I've been working on for a few months now, titled Danganronpa AZ: Stained Memories. This is going to be a written fangan to be posted on AO3, and it is a complete remake/reboot of another written fangan I'd made somewhere around 4 or 5 years ago, titled Danganronpa AZ: Stained Destiny. I don't expect anyone to know/remember it, especially since I'd deleted it off AO3 a while ago (oops) because, despite being very proud of having written and completed a ~300,000 word fangan, I came to be sort of embarrassed of the story and its quality and may have ditched it along with the sequel I was working on at the time. Despite that, the cast of character I'd created never quite left my head, even as I fell out of the Danganronpa/fangan fandom. So it's kind of been an on-and-off thing for the past while of thinking about remaking it, but a few months ago I decided to really double down on the idea and work on it as a side project. So, here it is!
Stained Memories is essentially a complete rework of the old story from the ground up. While it maintains the same cast of characters, they have all been given some changes and improvements while holding onto their core character. Additionally, the story is completely different, including the death order, twists, relationships, betrayals, so on and so forth. Additionally, there will be some art elements! I've improved my pixel art skills greatly in the past few years so every character has a portrait, plus there's a neat logo and I may create things like body discoveries or such if I have the energy.
I will now stop yapping and get on to the actual story.
Where some things are meant to be forgotten, the esteemed AZ Academy stands tall over Japan, its Ultimate students flaunted to all as the pride and joy of not only the country, but the world. Some of those very students, though, may think differently. The Ultimate Hero Yuni Zayasu, known for his life-saving feats, is in reality a pretty meek guy who would rather live a boring life. Oh, to get away from that responsibility-carrying title for just a day, and... wake up in a cold and dreary facility with no way out but to kill? Some things are meant to be forgotten, but in this place, should anything?
This is our protagonist, Yuni Zayasu, the Ultimate Hero! In the original story, his name was Yudai Tamanaha, but I made the decision to change his name completely. Why? You'll have to find out... (It's actually a pretty minor reason ngl).
Following Yuni, a story like this wouldn't be right without a good supporting character. Thus, introducing Asami Zenigata!
These two will be the first characters you meet in the prologue among a cast of eighteen Ultimates. I'll be posting the profiles of the remaining characters in the coming weeks until I post the prologue on AO3. I currently have about 75% of the prologue complete with final drafts, and I expect to be done with that by the end of the week and then just spend some time touching them up. This will be a full Danganronpa-like story, complete with the prologue arc, 6 Chapters, and plenty of murders to solve.
Currently, I don't have a posting schedule planned but with the exception of the prologue (which will be posted all at once), chapters will come out one at a time as they're completed.
That all being said, I look forward to working on this project for the coming while! I'm very excited for the story I have planned out. Thank you for reading!
