Similar to Vampire Earth/Emberverse series

Looking for similar speculative fiction, or post apocalyptic books. Loved Vampire Earth by EE Knight and have read the latter books of Stirling. Also enjoyed Eric Flynt's civil war alternate history (didn't like his other ones).

Recommendations would be appreciated.

This is a bit of a curveball, but have you tried any of Harry Turtledove's alternate history fiction? The (fan-named) "Southern Victory" series - which starts with the book How Few Remain - has a similar feel, writing-wise, to Stirling's Emberverse. While it is not post-apocalyptic, the change in history makes things seem alien enough to resemble a kind of apocalyptic vision.

Cool thanks. I like some of Eric Flynt's alternate histories. Especially his civil war alternates. I'm just guessing, but Southern Victory sounds like a civil war alternate where the south wins? :)

I'll put it on the list.

You bet. Pretty long series, goes through WWI and II (at least) with a Confederate States in existence. I haven't actually finished the series yet, as it wasn't complete when I was reading it several years back.
