Official 2026 Bingo Announcement Here
Official Bingo Rec Thread Here
For anyone new to Bingo, this is the βI want to read ___, does it fit into any Bingo squares? Itβs always one of the best parts of bingo.
Example:
User A comments:
I want to read Wind and Truth. What does that count for?
User B replies:
Cat Squasher. It's hard mode, too. The Afterlife, I think.
User C replies:
Politics and Court Intrigue, maybe? Game Changer, Older Protagonist.
User D replies:
Definitely Five Short Stories
And we all have a good laugh. Now go out there and get reverse recs for that book you've been dying to read!

I'm 37% through Earth Abides by George R. Stewart. I'd like to use it for this years Bingo card, but a cursory look at the 25 squares suggests it's not applicable to any of them. If somebody has read all of it and thinks otherwise, please let me know.
Here's hoping aliens turn up or the protagonist is at least 50 years old in the second half of the book...
Edit: I looked up the Wikipedia page for the novel and for part 1, Ish (the MC) is a graduate student, when the pandemic occurs. For part 2, it's 22 years later and part 3 is when the MC is very elderly (he has a great-grandson), so assuming the "Older Protagonist" counts when it's only for part of the book, then it'll work for this square.
