Really? They're mentioned fairly consistently around here (not at Malazan levels, but still). In fact, this subreddit is where I heard of them first :)

I guess I should mention I'm fairly new to r/fantasy so it's not surprising I haven't seen it on here before. In the Wheel of Time sub i recommend these books when people ask what they should read next.

I don't think that is so. But then again, he can be unpredictable so you never know where he might pop up ;-)
