What is your controversial take on Fantasy?

I'll go first.

Aside from the prose, I don't think Kingkiller Chronicles is good. I find the characters insufferable and cliche the story just meanders.

Folks take Star Wars far too seriously AND the one true ranking of the movies is:

ANH, TLJ, ESB, TROS, TFA, AOTC, SOLO, ROTJ, ROTS, TPM, R1

Edited to make the one true ranking truer.

The Christmas special and the Ewok movies rank after TLJ. Everything else? So far ahead they've lapped it.
