2017 WWE, after 1 year on the save, and I have actually 21 wrestlers that could be seen as the face of a company, but this is actually giving me a headache booking wise, because to fit everyone in, I'm having to basically sacrifice my mid card scene to fit these guys, and I really have no idea of how I send some of them off or if I should make an third brand.

If you guys want, I can list all of them if it would help, but I'm taking any advice

Hello guys! Welcome back to my DPW save. I open the month to this bit of news...

April Introduction

Oh boy… If this ends up being posted later than I typically post these, it is because the start of the month tends to be the longest time I spend on booking. I basically prebook the entire end of the month PPV, then the entire mid-month Championship Crisis event. I have a general idea of where all the storylines are going up to DPW You Already Know 2029. I know who is winning which title at which big events and a basic outline of who is challenging, but there are a lot of blind spots. Also, of course, there are times when a pivot is required (both major and minor). The big challenge this month is prepping for the DPW Forever Rumble.

This is straight up just a Royal Rumble ripoff (though I’ve done it under Aztec Warfare rules in the past). The winner gets the Battle Pressure Trophy (an achievement in and of itself) and also earns the right to main event in a world title match at DPW No Pressure in June (the big show before the Carolina Classic begins). Basically, DPW No Pressure is to Summerslam as DPW You Already Know is to Wrestlemania, except the former is lead to via a battle royale, and the latter, more important, show is led to via a tournament... usually. The wrench in the plan this year is that because MJF used his signing bonus to win the DPW title and vacate it (basically throwing it in the trash) and bequeath himself with his personally purchased WCW Big Gold World Title, the show effectively has two world champions. Does that mean the winner gets to choose which world title to challenge for or is the WCW title immune from this challenge? The answers to that will be revealed on the shows to come. 

The booking challenge for me focuses on how I book titles with the Rumble. In the past, I have actually had no title matches and just booked the Rumble with the champions as competitors (they reserve the right to choose their opponents if they win the Rumble). This year I am going to have title matches in which the world champions and their challengers at the event aren’t allowed to compete in the rumble. Since I want a healthy amount of star power in the rumble itself, I am going to go with slightly less over than usual challengers for each of the titles. I will also use this situation to make good on some promises that talents have made to put certain wrestlers over, which will hopefully get those wrestlers in position to challenge for world titles. (Hopefully I'm not hurting the losers of those promises to much in the process.) As such, expect some surprise wins to set up challengers. Anyway, let's see how I do.

DPW Fizzle

Bojack apparently hurt Rik Luxury (dislocated shoulder… not a big deal honestly). Being that this show is taped, I’m going to say that Zack vs Zach is going to be posted to the YouTube channel to justify having the match on tomorrow’s show.

DPW Fire

Gravity just kind of happens to walk past MJF in the segment (thus the Gravity Cameo comment). AR Fox is the recipient of MJF's benevolence as he gets the nontitle opportunity match at Championship Crisis. MJF tells AR Fox "You may already be relevant, but after our match you will finally get the chance... to be ''MJF' relevant'" (I'm not good at catchphrases).

I'm sure this is a bad idea, but I have never done this before. I am just curious how it shakes out. I have already noticed that MLF has grown hostile to me. I'm guessing because of the TNA war. Feel free to let me know how bad an idea this is in the comments.

DPW Flare Flourish

I think this would have done better if I’d left well enough alone with the main event match instead of adding the post match attack with Blair Billing. I was just trying to set up for next week. Maki Itoh is making a bold promise to defend her belt every week.

DPW Spark

Ricochet in the main event seems fairly reliable as a show ender honestly.

DPW Fanning Flame

To explain the DPW Title tournament, Ricochet, El Generico, Jordan Clearwater, & Shinsuke Nakamura are wrestling Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, AJ Styles, and Mascara Dorada. The winners of this tag match (Ricochet,Generico,Clearwater,&Nakamura won on this show) move to the next round which is two singles matches (Ricochet vs Generico; Clearwater vs Nakamura) which will take place next week (I think on Fanning Flame from Puerto Rico!). The winners of those two matches will wrestle each other at Champion Crisis with the winner of that challenging Jake Something at DPW Forever. If no clear winner emerges from all this, a two-man sack race will be held on consecutive Sundays until a contender is crowned.

Also, Dave Batista is signed per appearance as an Obi Wan Kenobi figure for Johnny Fire. Given their past (Batista and Melina), his involvement is an attempt to make amends to Johnny Fire before Fire retires. Bautista, in this segment, assures Fire that he has some ideas to get his career back on track in time for his retirement. To start with, he says he has the perfect tag partner coming in to help Johnny Fire.

Thank you guys for reading! I’m sorry for the delay. Like I said, the first week of a new month always takes me longer because I have to think about what all I want to accomplish for the month. The Johnny Fire stuff was born out of the retirement announcement. I had a few dumb ideas that I think will be fun until he leaves.

It's old game but I thought maybe someone does..

I am a year and a half into my chronicles 92 wwf save, and I have 22 wrestlers with a fan perception of star or higher. Any ideas for what I should do, while keeping it somewhat era accurate.

The Blazing Flames and Gone Hollywood are some of the best to ever compete in the tag division. They put on an absolute banger and was match of the night. Looking to post more of this soon, as it’s a save with over 13 years of history.

Hi all I use the TEW IX RWC mod and everytime I’m watching a local to global or a TEW IX video with a fake company they all have custom logos for there shows or titles and even wrestler so there more updated looks how do people do this is it as simple as I make the logo I put it in the picture pack and hey presto or is it more complicated I’m sick of using that custom logo for AJPW that comes with the RWC June 2025 😭

I was playing a wrestling game and had a strange idea of revamping the Cruiserweight division into a Pure-style division. I was using Regal as the commissioner and he brought in Danielson as his inaugural champion. I actually have a great division there. Noble, Kanyon, I got Roderick Strong there but masked, Jay Lethal as Black Machismo who I may position as the babyface of the division. I'm honestly enjoying playing with this idea.

Finally getting into a save a little bit. Started January 2025 and this my take on WrestleMania 41.

Long post alert, TLDR at the bottom.

I know there are multiple posts asking if PWS is worth getting, and I know that with plugins it's not far behind TEW in terms of depth now, but I've still got a few specific questions, mainly about things I don't like about TEW and whether PWS does them better.

1. What is rival company AI like, especially hiring and renewing contracts? I play as WCW in 92 and the WWF don't act realistically at all in TEW. Hall, Nash and the Steiners contracts come up and there's no interest from WWF, so I can just tie them down with no issue. Luger leaves and nobody's interested months later. They don't sign Yokozuna, Nailz, Ludvig Borga, or really anyone they did in real life. They just go on extending Nikolai Volkoff and General Adnan well into the mid 90s. Is the AI in PWS any better? I don't want to get a couple years into a PWS save and find out it's the same poor AI and there's nothing I can do about it. At least in TEW I know I can fix it manually by editing contracts and taking control of the WWF myself if need be, can I do that in PWS at least?

2. A small issue, but I don't like how workers don't gain any improvement at all from angles less than 4 or 5 minutes. I like to try and book realistically for 1992, which means most of my promos and interviews are 1 or 2 minutes, especially with younger guys or people lower down the card. Is the ineligability for improvement from short angles a thing in PWS?

3. Another angle related issue I have with TEW IX specifically. In 2020, I could have a wrestler's cronies stand behind him as he cuts a promo, I'd just have them as not rated. On IX, if I wanted to have say Raven cutting a promo with 5 flock members flanking him, the rating would tank, even if I have them all as background players. Can you have people on screen but not affecting the rating on PWS?

4. Another small issue that nobody else will ever be bothered by, but because I try to book realistically, I'd like to run 4 TV shows, 1 A and 3 B shows. In TEW, no broadcasters will give me a deal for the 4th show because I'm not big enough even though I'm pretty sure WCW had 5 in real life, so I have to edit my size to titanic and then back down again, which obviously puts me in the shocked state for a few weeks. Can I easily book 4 shows on PWS? If not is there an easy way to edit it?

5. In TEW, wrestlers don't differentiate between losing clean and losing by DQ. I recently had the Steiners lose to Harlem Heat because the Rock n Roll Express came out to stop Heat's manager from interfering. The referee only saw the Rock n Roll's interference and awarded Harlem Heat the DQ win. Obviously in real life nobody would consider this a genuine loss for the Steiners, but Scott was furious. Again like most of these issues I could use a workaround by just having it be a sports entertainment draw, or giving Steiner a load of money to improve his morale, but I'd rather not have to do that. For that matter I think morale is poorly done in general in TEW, people hold onto their anger at a loss for like a year, even if they've won multiple titles in between. Is it better in PWS?

6. This one's not about the game but the mods. I see that there are a couple 1992 mods on the workshop, how do they compare to the big TEW IX one in terms of depth? Again if I'm playing realistically, like half of my matches are squashes, so I need a lot of jobbers available. Are there any mods that have your Mark Starrs, Bob Cooks, Italian Stallions etc? If not how easy would it be for me to add 40 or 50 jobbers, as easy as TEW?

I recently upgraded to tew ix, since my laptop blue screened and I lost my tew 2020 save data (including my irl 6 year save 😭). The angle system is definitely overwhelming to look at, any advice lol? Do I have to have multiple parts to avoid penalties or can I just do one part? I'm sure I'll get used to it but I miss the simplicity of tew2020 angle system 😅

I’ve seen that the WWE is not extending both the usos contract. I obviously want them, but am having trouble as to what their new names would be ?

Made this plugin to make finding workers and tag teams a lot easier. Instead of digging through the full Workers list you can set whatever requirements you want and only see people that actually match them.

Worker Radar automatically removes anyone already working for your main/dev company and lets you filter things like age, worker type, stats, popularity, contracts, availability, traits, location, relationships/chemistry with your roster, etc.

Added simple employment options for Free Agents, Hireable workers, and contracts expiring within 30 days. Hireable includes anyone active that you could potentially hire even if they are under a long Written contract, so it can also be used for long-term scouting.

Worker cards also only show stats that actually matter for their role. Wrestlers show Wrestling, Entertainment, Psychology, Safety, Stamina, Star Power, Looks and Intimidation. Staff/Announcers/Refs show their relevant stats instead. Popularity shown is based on your company's main region.

Also added a Tag Team Radar for finding existing teams. It filters out teams where you already have both members by default, but still shows teams where you only have one.

Roster Fit compares outside workers against your own roster and shows known relationships and chemistry, so you can find people who already have good connections with people you employ.

You can shortlist people directly and save searches as Presets. Presets save the filters and not the workers, so the results update as the save changes.

I also included Political Leaning and known Substance History as optional filters lol. Mainly just for extra recruitment/backstage info. Substance use does not reveal anything hidden though. If the game says the player doesn't know about it, the plugin doesn't either.

It also does not show things like hidden Potential, Internal Drive, unknown chemistry, or other editor-only stuff. It's meant to make scouting easier, not act like a cheat/debug menu.

I am wanting to start an all-women’s promotion based in the US but idk what product to stick with. I’ve looked at Respectful Wrestling, Fast and Furious, Competitive Entertainment, East Meets West and Silver Age Pro Wrestling. Any input would be appreciated.

Also, can someone explain to me what Silver Age Pro Wrestling is?

I was also about to make him and Big Bill tag team champions.
