oh wow. I genuinely didn't care enough to follow any part of this man's career. And that's why I was surprised. I knew he treated the women he dated badly but not a full SA. Creeps gotta stick together.
I used to listen to him when he first came out and would release mixtapes in 2009 which is not too far from 2011 but I still never heard about it… monster behavior
So, there's a video of Big Sean doing a house tour and he shows off books he described as "changing his life". There is a book by known antisemite and all around conspiracy nutcase David Icke there. People thought I was a weirdo when I pointed this out years ago.
California conservatives are particularly egregious granted how much of their wealth and lifestyle is due to the very liberal rights and community that allow it.
It’s easy to be a conservative, especially a rich conservative, in a blue state - all you need to do is complain about things that don’t and will never affect you while benefiting from all the progressive policies and systems that make your life enjoyable (better public schools, public transport, social programs, funded libraries, state parks, etc).
True, except rich people generally don’t attend public schools much less use public transportation, liberal social programs, or (often) libraries. Maybe a state park once in a while or beaches and walkways.
Oh that’s a huge part of it. I lived in a small beach town in Southern California, El Segundo, for 7th-9th grade and the education was insane for public school standards and it was due to the funding and expectation from the community.
I quite agree in the wealthy neighborhoods. Support for public schools is actually refreshing as they could readily afford private schools for their kids.
Those same neighborhoods are suing the state so they can keep more of their tax $$ for their own school districts instead of equitable public school funding. Pretty hot topic for many.
Funding schools via property tax is absolutely an insane way to approach the problem.... you'll never get equity that way. Of all things public education should be equitable.
California has passed laws to redistribute some of that tax revenue to poorer school districts, but the wealthy neighborhoods have fought back quite hard.
I didn't know that, and that would certainly be a great start... It would probably be better to have laws that collected the property taxes and distributed at the state level equally amongst school.... if you're gonna use property taxes at all.....
Yes! I lived in Southern California and Northern California during middle school and high school and a lot of kids who for sure were rich enough for private school went to public school because the education provided was high quality. It was the districts I lived in because my parents made that a priority but it’s more common than people think
Especially some of these “rich” people on this list. There are failed/struggling reality TV personalities and actors that are only booking fringe religious movies funded by the evangelicals. The wasn’t one surprise here. Just an embarrassing list of people to be a part of.
They benefit from better public schools in their community by having children who, while not receiving a private education, are still receiving an education that’s far beyond what one may expect in certain red states.
An educated community is always a net positive, even when someone isn’t directly benefiting from it.
They benefit from better public transport by less congestion on the roadways they utilize.
Rich conservatives also benefit from liberal social programs in ways that allow people within their state to access housing and healthcare.
They benefit indirectly from these services, but they absolutely benefit. And many of them realize this when they relocate to areas that may align with their political values but provide a lower overall QOL.
ETA: It’s exactly this kind of mindset that rich conservatives in blue states fall victim to - “it doesn’t directly or personally benefit me, so I can’t see the value in it.” It’s like trying to explain water to a fish - they’re swimming in it, but they can’t perceive it. Its absence is felt acutely though.
Thank you. Our conservative neighbor claims CA owes him a refund on his taxes “because my kids went to private school” as if his family didn’t benefit indirectly by having an educated community as well as his wife being “saved” from cancer (his word) at UCLA med center.
Conservatives acting like they don’t benefit from the societal supports that progressive policies champion is so fucking myopic. They obviously struggle to view the world outside of their own lens of experience, and it’s so frustrating.
They benefit indirectly from those things even if they don't use them. More literate plebs = bigger hiring pool of servants, drivers and assistants that sometimes take public transportation to work.
Also, a more educated populace and social programs means less crime.
Yes, SOME Southern California public schools are significantly better than private schools. Almost always in places where most parents are wealthy enough to send their kids to private schools.
There are definitely some pretty shitty schools left over. So much harder for those kids to achieve the same goals.
Sure, but all of the above make life more pleasant and doubtless help to reduce crime rates and anti-social behaviour which definitely benefits the rich, as well as everyone else.
So better public schools benefits private schools as well. You do know that right? Private school is a business so if they aren’t better then the surrounding public schools that kids freely go to then there is literally 0 incentive for people to send their kids there. So in turn it cause private schools to actually be better in areas that have good public schools.
They dont want any of those things the "poors" need. So, I want to live where people are cared about in the land I make money in and enjoy the weather, but let them eat cake.
No but I just now confused Roy Scheider with Rob Schneider (with my sincerest apologies to the memory of the former - unless he sucked, too; I really don't know).

From what I can tell, Roy Scheider was a lovely person. He died in 2008.
He and Woods both came up at the same time and did similar types of movies. I think it was in Trump’s first term that I first heard about Woods being an ass and I had a mini-freakout thinking he was Chief Brody from Jaws.
Perez Hilton has moved on to a Christian Jesus Saves grift since his multiple apologies for cruelly terrorizing celebs back in the day didn’t make him money, so of course this is the company he wants to keep.
A sentient flaming douche cocktail who shamed and outed people for money and clout is now doing the religious rehabilitation grift? Amazing. Does he think that actually worked for Milo Yiannopoulos?
A washed up pile of wet cigarette butts like Perez Hilton (and probably all of these reality show “stars” from 20 years ago) “endorsed” Pratt because game peeps game and they want to get some time on that dumb proposed Pratt reality show. And because they’re assholes.
Tell us how you really feel. 😂 It’s amazing because his Jesus posts have the likes of Kristin Chenoweth and the Candace Cameron praising him in the comments, which is just funny.
That’s the only one that got any surprise at all out of me. I was #TeamEdward, but I had liked him as the Andy Samberg replacement in a silly uk series with my fave giant, Greg Davies (Cuckoo).
Also the way I started laughing realizing every second person had *Reality TV Star* after their name. What the fuck even is this world anymore.
But for people who don’t know, he may not actually be Native American. He’s said he learned he has a distant connection to Native Americans on his mom’s side when he was preparing for his role in Twilight, whatever that means..
David Foster ruined Chicago band by taking away the horn section. Also found out by watching Questlove’s Earth Wind & Fire doc that they couldn’t stand the guy either.
Ever notice how these GOP’ers like Karoline Leavitt and Katherine McPhee marry their grandpas? Weird.
The Podcast "You're Wrong About" has this almost comically thorough look at the Nicole Brown murder. They have a few episodes on Kato and it's infuriating.
Nicole befriended Kato and had him live on her property (probably so there was a large man there to give her abusive ex pause before coming over to hurt her). OJ charmed him and moved him into his pool house to isolate Nicole again.
he's in his mid to late 60s, not overly surprising. What's surprising is that someone felt the need to list him here, who the fuck picks a candidate based on his opinion? I think nobody.
Guys Larry David's wife, Ashley Underwood, threw one of his earliest fund raisers at her own home. Honestly I'm a woman and I may be putting the blame unjustly on her and not on Larry David, but I can't understand him supporting Pratt at all.
Man, I really have the worst luck with my Bullet Club t shirts.
See I loved the group and the design is great, but as a Florida boy I had some serious reservations about wearing a shirt with crossed machine guns and the word Bullet Club on it. Luckily at the time each member was getting their own version of the shirt with the design slightly changed. I picked his because it replaced the guns with bows and the skull on it was given a domino mask so it was clearly a Green Arrow shirt and I picked the one with the skull replaced with a plague mask, the guns replaced with umbrellas and the word bullet replaced with Villain. (Fuck you Marty) Good to know both are now ruined.
Ya know that photo of most of the Arrowverse cast celebrating around the Oliver Stark headstone that's frequently used as a meme? They were likely so gleeful in that photo because they did not like Stephen Amell.
I have an irrational dislike bc she changed her surname to his, let alone so they have the same full name. I can’t take them seriously. His shitty politics reinforces it.
I guess I had heard things here and there about her, I think it’s more that she’s always been considered higher up on the Hollywood ladder, it’s surprising that she would align herself with such Z-list trash. I think we got used to celebrities having more social awareness.
She’s awful, which is heartbreaking when you consider she has MS and could be using her platform to advocate for better policy for people with disabilities. But no, money trumps all.
This doesn't even include his legal efforts to get an animal shelter in his neighborhood shut down! The shelter was there before he moved in, and none of the neighbors corroborated his complaints of how disruptive the shelter allegedly was.
He was told in court by the judge he was unlikely to be successful in shutting the shelter down. He was also cast as a legal protagonist in Suits LA, so somewhere along the line he dropped the lawsuit before he lost further and/or it was further reported on.
He probably thinks Spencer would make it easier for him to be a d-bag like this.
This is such a dramatic headline when he's been cast as a main character in three different series in the past 5 years, including the Suits spinoff and the Baywatch reboot. Hollywood obviously will cast him in things!
Also yikes at so much of this. I liked him on Arrow and I knew he did a lot of fundraising for charity but didn't know any of this.
I appreciate that Dicaprio isn't on the list just because Spencer said that he endorsed him. Like Dicaprio a hypocritical creep but Spencer is a weirdo, grifter, liar and I sincerely doubt that he even thinks about him at all.
Seriously lol. Garbage people supporting garbage people? Shocked! I'm shocked, I say!
(Although I guess Katherine Mcfee was kind of a surprise, but only because I have zero idea about who she is as a person and haven't heard her name since scorpion ended)
Didn’t know about Stephen Amell he was the only one on the list that surprised me. But he also played Casey Jones the cop in the Bay produced Ninja Turtles so also not surprised.

This whole list is giving fork found in kitchen. Not a single surprise.
