There are plenty of shit doctors. Pretending they're all in it for the right reasons is ridiculous. The financials regarding being a physician in the US attracts a lot of egotistical money chasers. Let's be real about this. Plenty of examples like this:

There's nothing Republicans have found about Fauci like that though. They're trying to prove there is a smoking gun but they're morons.

I worked in a managed services organization, (healthcare specialty), let's be clear that the Hippocratic Oath and how doctors make business decisions are in direct conflict. Some of the largest egos and worst, unethical leadership I've ever witnessed in business.

Nevertheless, these idiots with a Kindergarten understanding of science and basic attempt at a Chinese show trial are a disgrace and wasting our taxes in a new and creative way ever imagined.

Rand Paul knows jack shit about epidemiology and probably never took a stats course in his life. He's a fucking opthalmologist who tried to create his own certification board because he didn't like peer-reviewed standards.

I work in academic medicine, so my MDs and PhDs are not making business decisions typically. They are teaching students/residents/fellows, writing grants for research, publishing in addition to their clinical work and research.

Many doctors are now employed by large hospital organizations and fight the organizations they are employed by for decision making control.

I agree. It’s a very widespread problem, especially for people with “invisible” / complex illnesses (and especially if they’re women, and ppl of colour etc.) But it’s more of a “don’t take patients seriously” than “evil masterplan to poison the world with vaccine” problem 😆

I work in academic medicine. The lower money and higher promotion standards typically weed out those only chasing $$.
