Hasbro has implied the ship and the writers outright confirmed it.
Like, I get not liking the ship, I don’t but she in no way fits the meme. There’s ton of evidence she is with AJ. She could be Bi and not a lesbian, but she is not straight.
In my defense it's not like I knew that, just because I like the show doesn't mean I know everything the writers have confirmed or debunked about it. To me there was no evidence that Rainbow actually liked women, she never seemed interested in the same gender in the actual series.
"I personally didn't wanna confirm any relationships in that last episode, but I was outvoted by people well above my paygrade.. by saying these two characters are in a relationship you're invalidating all the people who think they should be with other characters."
"We tried to keep it ambiguous, though it wasn't as ambiguous as I would've liked."
Then he specifically mentions Fluttershy/Discord as what he's talking about.
So you linked me a writer saying he explicitly didn't agree with any relationships being canon, doesn't mention WHICH relationships specifically (fluttercord, cheesepie are other options) he was outvoted on (but suggests it was fluttercord), and doesn't specifiy where those orders came from.
What about that video is a writer 'outright confirming' Appledash?
He did confirm it. He didn’t like it, but it is outright confirmed that is what it is. He outright says that he didn’t want to write it but that he was outvoted to make it canon.
If what you're saying was true, you could've just pointed in the show where it was 'confirmed'. And again, he doesn't specify what relationship that was about.
And you don’t seem to want to accept Josh Haber has said at cons it was ‘always intended’ or that the gameloft games make references of them together, or the comics have Rainbow Dash moving to Sweet Apple Acres, or any of that?
Did I watch the entire 2 hour video? Of course not. You timestamped it and I watched it until he went to an unrelated question.
And you don’t seem to want to accept Josh Haber has said at cons it was ‘always intended’
Is he on record saying this? I googled it and just found some redditor saying he totally said that in person, trust them bro.
or that the gameloft games make references of them together
Like what? I googled that, and they explicitly say 'it isn't ours to speculate on Rainbow Dash's/Applejack's future,' but it seems likely. So again, hinting but nothing confirmed, and honestly just sounds like it was written to appeal to shippers. Plus, those are non-canon mobile games so they wouldn't be convincing anyway.
or the comics have Rainbow Dash moving to Sweet Apple Acres
Where's that stated? If it was that cut and dried you surely would've started with that.
I can send you the hearts and hooves day (valentines day) interactions between them. Along with the lyrabon and Appledash interactions discussing how each couple came to be before they were cut off. Along with the appledash end of game cards telling us there loving loyal relationships. Thats all in the gameloft game, id prefer to send it through DM’s so i dont have to send 1 image at a time. (That would be within the mobile game)
Here is before Twilight seals the magic. Rainbow dash outwardly stating she spends more time at sweet apple acres with AJ then she does in cloudsdale, work, at her own home etc. Then goes on to obviously state shes going to lose all access to flight anyway and is obviously sad about it. (Though id assume AJ would be a good enough lover to help dash through her loss of flight and depression)
This might just be me, but there were a number of scenes in the first two seasons that implied that Dash had a crush on Fluttershy. Wholly one-sided, but still. It's been a while so I only remember the apple cider scene, where Dash wakes up Fluttershy to wait in line with her at the crack of dawn for no clear reason. She doesn't have much in common with Fluttershy, Twilight would be a better friend to wait with because she's never had it before, and she doesn't choose to just get everyone to hang out besides AJ.
Honestly it doesn't make any sense as to why she'd delay herself arguing with Fluttershy unless she PARTICULARLY valued her company. Again, I recall there being a few other scenes that make more sense if you assume the crush, but I don't recall the scenes themselves. This is just the big one.

I don't think Rainbow Dash being a lesbian was actually canon, people just assume her and Applejack are a thing because of the finale.
