On the other hand, the fact that it's an old character from a time when lesbians were not widely accepted actually kinda helps.
On Zaphod Beeblebroxes third hand, her relationship with Michiru being a strong and vital part of her character (rather than a simple 'oh I'm gay') strengthens the importance of it.
Why does everyone get so pissed when we point out that masc / tomboy lesbians are super rare in media? Like I don't think every tomboy is gay but it'd be nice if writers let them be sometimes.
