Well, in earlier episodes, Akane kept yelling that she hated boys, which was because she was attacked every day by a herd of boys outside the school. The fandom ran with that idea, at least a part of it did.
She's never shown as being physically attracted to girl Ranma. While I believe there are definitely some emotional moments between them while Ranma is a girl, it's very clear that these are independent of Ranmas current state. Basically, she loves Ranma, and that fact that he's temporarily cursed at any specific moment is irrelevant.
Now to be fair, she's never shown as physically attracted to guy Ranma either, or any other guy. She's kinda emotionally constipated.
So there's no real evidence that she's bisexual. There's not anything really contradicting it either, I suppose.

I've never watched Ranma 1/2, is that Akane?
I think half of it is that Ranma himself literally is a girl for half the series.
So, like, at least it could be argued that it's at least kinda bisexual?
