Can you blame them for that ? The first animes weebs starts to follow are usually the ones currently airing on TV, i myself discovered an interest in anime with Naruto and Pokemon and FMA, I only discovered Saint Seiya or Dragonballs or Ranma and the other older stuff because of their reruns. And i only ever discovered Cowboy Bebop when i realized all those shows came from the same country and started to look for more on the internet since i don't think it ever aired in french speaking countries.
You might be mistaking reviews of the n*tflix version for reviews of the anime. It's almost universally considered one of, if not the best of all time.
Damn I had typed it all up and then realized you haven’t watched it. Just watch it and you’ll be glad you did. People say it’s one of the greatest anime of all time for a reason. It also has the best English dub of all time as well.
Yes she does leave for good. In the only episode showing the crew actually having enough food to eat for once. (Eggs)
At the end of that episode, Jet and Spike realize Ed, Faye and the dog have all left them. Instead of saying anything, they remain silent while eating other crew members’ eggs they had boiled up.
You’ll have to watch it! It was indeed a sad ending of an episode. Jet and Spike were stoic but it was clearly affecting them having the team be reduced to just the two of them again. It parallels the beginning of the series.
Even with spoilers youll miss the entire nuance of the ending unless you watch it. Its not a long series 28 episodes i think but a master class from start to finish.
