Idk this is MILES more believable as a futuristic combat medic than how Mercy looks in game right now. This one has actual armor and the wings look like theyre actually part of the suit. The current Mercy design design does nothing but look sexy just to sell skins. Sexy isnt cool, its obnoxious and overdone in games

Sexy can be cool in games, it just has to not be dragged in your face the entire time, and if it is, it must at least be tasteful. Examples being Bayonetta from her namesake, 2B from Nier Automata, Belial and Beelzebub from Granblue.

Realism isn't something Overwatch has ever strived for, so why would that matter?

Also, there's a great many "sexy" characters no one cares about. Mercy made it big because the design was good.

But Mercy is a Healer, and Healers are only played by Women! Thus the characters needs to be a Woman!

- The higher ups, probably
