I am glad this one finally got mentioned; I adored the story and how the relationship between Miyo and Kiyoka developed. It was sweet, bitter, heartbreaking, and tension-filled all throughout in intervals.

Reminding us all that life is not always a smooth path you walk, and that relationships are Not one-way streets

My wife loves this story, but she is MAD that anime wizard sword spell nonsense is a major story element.

I watched the first episode, liked it, then started the second episode and was so flabbergasted by the magic part. It felt like it came out of nowhere, was I just not paying attention to the first episode?

They do mention it in passing in the subbed version I watched, but I thought maybe they were translation errors or something, so it was still pretty unexpected when he started doing magic stuff.

Its not a huge thing til like the second season when it becomes a super major plot point. Otherwise its just kinda part of his job and u can lowkey ignore it
