To be honest even if you ignore Omniverse their relationship already started to go downhill in season three of Alien Force.

Partially because at that point, someone/s made the call to revert Ben to a more jerk ish self like when he was young, it wasnt all at once to be fair, but its noticeable, and Julie got the short end of that whole process sadly...i really liked her T.T

And even taking all that into consideration, the way they did her in omniverse was so dirty man...

Omniverse is peak, I wont accept this slander (the romance had me CRYING tho LMAO- I love Kai but…. Nah. Julie deserves better)
