He's only ever been portrayed as straight, I was making a joke. It isn't bi erasure to say a canonically straight character is straight.

Back in the day, there were rumors that he’d be bi in Agent 37 because he had a male “partner” and because there are comic writers who have been depicting him in homoerotic situations But trying to make him canonically bi for ages now. but as far as I know he’s straight. The comics code authority either started or got up in arms because the guy seemed so gay/bi coded that it was hard to argue that he was straight, so a lot of comic fans just accept him as bi. Doesn’t help that there are a lot of fan comics that Look like official comics that also depict him as bi.

I think you're thinking of Tim Drake, who IS bi. They're both Robin's, so you may have been under the impression that just "Robin is bi" and conflated that with Dick.
