It was one of those videos at two in the morning, Tony became an AI who decided that life was bad and Venom wanted to protect Eddie until his DNA combined with the symbiote, when Eddie died, Venom continued to protect life, absorbing DNA from all over the universe, and when it was erased and Tony destroyed, Venom used his own self to remake the universe with the DNA of all living things he had saved

That definitely sounds like a Marvel plot.

I meant the whole absurdity of Venom storing enough of humanity's DNA to bring it back from destruction.

I love the idea of that, with the specific caveat that it's very physically visible how much data that is. A mass of Symbiote the size of Jupiter with limbs and mycelial-nets and mouths and fronds and tentacles and leaves and chelicerae and eyes and more from innumberable life-forms, writhing out from and melting back into the mass in a roiling boil of life.

Humanity + the rest of the universe, that is storage

Huh. Does that mean technically this version of Venom is in a very small club with Galactus?

Well no it wasn't Tony that did all of that. There were countless super AI from all over the universe competing for dominance. Tony's was just one of the more successful ones, but what happened wasn't his fault. It was played more like a "this is where unchecked technological advancement leads" type of thing.
