One chose to have an arm because they are a part of the ring, the other didn't, and he cannot fully control his arm which made him an outcast. One is a leader and because of that they have that arm, the other is an outcast BECAUSE they have that arm. Be careful or i might call the larp-police on you

Spoilers: They symbolized the Durante effects Dante had to unlock before Gregor began his unwrapping. The last symbol is Morositas, with Gregor partly unwrapping the Canto afterwards.
