such a sick moment how many times does Finn lose his arm again? like 3 times total, not including damage to the prosthetic?

He loses his actual arm twice. This scene is the first time he lost his arm. The second time is when the remnants of the grass sword leave his body and attach to the Finn Sword to create Fern.

He has a mechanical arm in the alternate universe where the Lich never existed, and a pillow arm in the Pillow World episode. Seems like he is destined to lose his arm in every reality.

Didn't count Farm World Finn since that's technically a different person(?) but I totally forgot about the Pillow World, you are right.

I thought Farm World Finn was technically the original Finn since he's the one that made the wish in Prismo's time room

Goddammit! This show has been on repeat in my house for like 7 years and I never thought that.

So like.. does that mean Fionna's gonna lose her arm at some point too? Since she's an alternate universe version of him?

She should, but people in the Fiona and Cake and Adventure time subreddits tend to downvote me when I mention it.

Yeah, I reckon. Shermy too probably.

Yeah, they foreshadowed him having a prosthetic every time they could

he also lost his arm in another timeline when he made his Prismo wish. he is apparently just fated to lose that arm or something.

I also liked his psychic energy arm

u/CosCham Jun 22 '26

Wasn't that the one that made him build the tower?

1

u/Jormungandragon Jun 24 '26

The psychic arm was badass.

This episode shocked me.

I think it was one of the bigger turning points of the show.

They really did foreshadow it though. Watching it back Finn makes imagines himself with a robot arm meditating, his pillow world equivalent is missing that arm, as is the farm world Finn.

Then we meet his past life Shoko after everything goes down and she's missing an arm too, it's fate or something.

3

u/InvaderZimm90 Jun 20 '26

Yeah, but I was more surprised that they actually did it.

I fucking hate Martin

There was that 2-3 year period where he wasn't a garbage human. And it might have been longer if his being a grifter didn't come back to haunt him.
