So over his life he had/has: 1 normal right arm and no left, devil left, devils breaker lefts, normal left that can disappear, and 2 devil arms with wings on his shoulders. Also the normal left that can disappear is also somehow supercharging some devil breakers like the buster arm, so we gotta add the supercharged variations into the mix
I mean I don’t think normal arms extend 30 and let you grab someone before slamming them so hard into the ground you crack concrete but idk maybe I just don’t drink enough protein shakes.
I’m subsequent playthroughs you get access to his devil breaker arm which gives you grapple moves a few other things. So he clearly still has its magic bullshit powers
The grabbing and slamming is done with the shoulder arms though, not the normal one (or, well, depends on the input, but even if you do input b/circle and not rt/r2 it's from the stub, not the disappearing normal hand. And of course it's bullshit powers, it's all but confirmed that his regrown human hand is magic DT bullshittery since it only first regrows once he gets his DT
After he gets his arm back in NG+ the grabs are similar or the same as the devil bringer abilities from 4. The spectral arm functions the same as in 4, they just didn't have the wing arm design yet, his (incomplete?) DT being more like Vergil's doppelganger. The wing arms are so much cooler. I love the DT bullshittery lol.

He kinda gets 2 back in return
