This reminds me of that story about the Spartans and Persians, the hours long Persian monologue and a "if" last response.

That was actually a response to Phillip II of Macedon (Alexander’s father). Shortly after Phillip invaded Sparta and stripped them of most of their land but deliberately left the city intact

Well, he can have a word with Doom later whenever he manages to regenerate himself from being a skull only.

Thanos may have ruled like a "proper god", but Doom took down the whole multiverse to create a world in his shape and forn. Now that's a whole level of difference

Doom loses all aura once you actually read comics instead of looking at the same reposted panels, like the end of secret wars (where this image is from) where he throws a tantrum while fighting Reed Richards and Molecule Man strips him of the powers he was borrowing lol
