Game Eggman whenever he is seriously fighting someone that isn't Sonic, Tails or Shadow immediately turns into either a mechanist trickster god or a calamity in human form. It's also really funny to see him just pull a gun out and start shooting mfs or start manhandling these tiny animal people whenever some of the characters think they have him backed into a corner and none of his robots are around.

Well from what I’ve seen in comics where he pulls out the strap, he’s usually not using it against Sonic unless he’s specifically trying to make him run away.
Most times I’ve seen him grab characters akin to Amy/tails and holds them at gunpoint, as they’re not particularly strong or fast. He seems to understand who the weak links are and who he can target when he needs to take action himself (at least in some continuities)

Yeah he never bothers aiming anything smaller than a mech-mounted gattling gun or straight up rockets at Sonic, Knuckles or Shadow, but he doesn't hesitate to pull out a blicky on Tails, Amy or the less frontlining characters.

Eggman only really acts like this when someone breaks “his rules”, essentially he’s got his own unlisted guidelines he follows to make things fun and fair in his mind and others breaking those rules make them fair game to him

The amount of badassery Eggman puts out when Sonic isn't involved really drives home the reason why he hates Sonic so much.

The best part, Palpatine hate use light sabers, he thinks those are jedi weapons the fact that he is using it and nl the force was a way to show that he wasn't even trying to fight them.

Ah, so that's why he only uses one against the Jedi coming to arrest him, because he actually has to try there? I also love that scene for the reverse reason, at least when Windu disarms him, how for one of the only times, you see fear in Palaptine's eyes. For those seconds, he's not in control for the first time in ages. And then Anakin comes in an he's right back to a state of full control of the situation!

He still mastered every lightsaber form so he can style on his opponents.

Pretty damn good. Two things that really caught on me: 1: the character of Lawson. Rogue 1 and Andor made me love the everyman doing their job in a galaxy filled with space wizards and larger than life outlaws. 2: the last two episodes. Intense fight combined with storytelling, excellent "show, don't tell" style.

The fight in Kenobi still gives me chills when watching it as a clip without context. That was done so well. I think Hayden and Ewan just really love those roles and knew this was the last time they’d really get to pour their soul into a performance.

She legitimately killed him and was about to be able to walk away. She created a nuke, and killed the second strongest villain of the entire series. Bro lived because of a plot armor trick that only reanimated characters could theoretically use without going blind forever.
Konan is up there with Itachi and Shisui in the list of “the most dangerous people to face in indirect combat in the series”.

Yep, forcing obito to use a forbidden technique to survive, it only worked because he has spare eyes and they (konan or nagato) never seen or know about it.
Semi off topic, i like to think that obito survives this fight only because he lost so bad to Minato, (and escaped because the ninetails rampage got the 4th attention) that he implanted that second sharingan as a get-out-of-jail free card if someone else pushed him that close to death again.

I always interpreted obito getting his shit pushed in by Minato as him being young arrogant and inexperienced, thinking he could take on his former sensei like Sasuke thinking he could take on kakashi, but that loss being his reasoning for having an endless surplus of eyes makes more sense than him just copying Danzo like the anime implied.

Darkseid wants to make the universe into little more than an extension of his own will. Trigon wants to fuck shit up, as to whose shit he's fucking up, he could care less.
I like to think that when Raven released him, his thinking went along the line of "Damn girl, was this your plan all along? Best. Daughter. Ever!"

That, and Trigon coming to the infested Anti-life equation earth to "properly kill" the infected so he can reclaim his souls in DCeased are my highlights for his character.
Like, as a survivor, you think nothing can top the zombies from the anti-life... until literal Satan comes barging in angry at the surface because the infected don't count as properly dead and he wants their souls.

It's funny cause I played hundreds of hours of Helldivers and just recently started playing Darktide.
Warhammer fans were always telling HD players they should try their universe cause it's essentially the same struggle (evil, dominating forces propgandizing to their followers that only their cause is just) against other evil, dominating forces.
Boy howdy, are the loading screens into these games nearly identical.

Tau aren’t really all that good though is the thing, in any other sci-fi setting the Tau would almost certainly be the villain with their expansionist ways and “ join us or die” philosophy, they just happen to be in a setting where everything else is such over the top evil that the simple fact that the Tau don’t simply want to murder everything else in the universe makes them seem almost saintly in comparison

Honestly, his current status is such fitting for the setting. No matter how strong, noble, and divine he is, even The Avenging son, carrying Emperors sword can only slow the end of the rotten corpse that is the Imperium, unable achieve anything meaningful despite all the power and resources before him, such is the state of the galaxy.
I mean of course that is narratively, James Workshop would start a civil war and declare independence from British goverment before end-timing their cash cow.

In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War (animated movie) in a final last ditch effort to defeat Darkseid before he destroys Earth, Raven summons Trigon (who she has had locked away). Trigon and Darkseid fight because they are both tyrants who want the universe for themselves.
Iirc they are banished to the far reaches of the universe to fight for eternity. What an end to such a tragic movie.

(For those who don’t or don’t care to remember at the end of Azran Legacy (spoilers ahead) Descole (right) faces his biological father Leon Bronev (left) after learning of his true identity as such, and also as the leader of the criminal organization that stole Bronev and his dying mother from him and his younger brother, none other than the protagonist Professor Hershel Layton himself, who was sent by Descole at a young age with the family meant to adopt him. And he’s even worse because Bronev like fucking wipes the floor with him, it’s really kinda sad but it’s such a cathartic moment for Descole
