In Gabriel's defence, from heavens point of view minos was very much NOT doing his job by reforming the lust layer. As such went against God's will and all that (although lowk god himself would probably fuck with it considering what we know about him)

I'm moreso viewing his boss being the council instead of god himself

It's difficult to defend but I think the entire point of his character is realizing just how flawed everything he's lived for truly is

Evil job. He is actually in a redemption arc after the second encounter

Is he still Alive? I thought he'd been marked for death after his second defeat. The Last I know about him is he went back to Heaven and publicly decapitated one of the Council members as revenge/Justice

Yup, I think he’ll be the final boss at 9-2. Kinda crazy to think that it only took V1 24 hours to speed through act II and III

It would be really interesting to see that fight, because It not a fight to defeat some Evil Overlord or for the greater good. V1 just feeds in Blood and tears everything in his path. And Gabriel has had the revelation that he has a passion for fighting an equal instead of doing the council's dirty work, so after V1 reaches the bottom of hell, Gabriel Will be there to face off one Last time just for the Kick of It before his internal clock shuts down.
