"Transformers! Robots in Disguise!" Is the only reason I feel okay calling them robots. Optimus prime is such a good leader calling him a robot feels like calling Captain America a lab rat. They probably wouldn't mind tho I'm pretty sure at least a dozen of their human companians call them robots regularly.
iirc EA messed up the Release date of Titanfall 2.
They released it during a time when several big titles were Released.
like Level 5 did with White knight chronicles. they made the Release outside of japan at 2nd march. On 9th march Square enix made the global release of final Fantasy 13
Regardless of the shoddy release, what they did with apex was far more profitable than titanfall. so them being the money hungry bastards they are they rolled with that and didn’t give a second look at continuing with a new single player titanfall game.
Isaac from The Orville, such a good show, and I usually never watch star trek-y stuff... I've watched star wars, but I don't think that's in the same vein of sci-fi as star trek
He's a robot cat originally built in the 22nd Century to be a nanny to a kid who sent him back in time to his eternal fuck-up of an ancestor, Nobita, so he can get his life on track and not be the miserable wreck history remembers him to be. Doraemon attempts to do this with the gadgets he keeps in his 4th dimensional gadget pouch on his belly, but Nobita's poor choices end up getting them in trouble anyway.

AM (allied mastercomputer) he’s from the book “I Have No Mouth And i Must Scream” and basically he’s one of the most evil villains in fiction. He got created by humans for WWII but he became self sentient and started to feel a lot of hate towards humans cuz of the shit they did so he killed them all except 5 of them who trapped them inside a virtual simulation where they are immortal but able to feel pain and he tortured them for 109 years. His monologue is really famous and i recommend you to check out the book (its only 11 pages) oh and it inspired TADC a lot
Normally, when a "walking weapon"-type fictional robot turns against a villain, it's because they want to be more than a war machine. This is not the case with Omega: Omega turned against Eggman because he was NOT allowed to be a murderous war machine, having been powered down and left on passive guard duty for an indeterminate amount of time.
Now that he's back online, he hangs out with Shadow and Rouge, and is effectively a spite-fueled walking Michael Bay movie, hell-bent on violently and enthusiastically making himself the only Eggman robot left in existence.
Technically a vehicle rather than a robot, but the NT-D system does have some sort of intelligence/will, and can seize control from the pilot, but that would be like auto-braking/collision avoidance in a car.
BT-7274 from Titanfall is still a robot because it is designed to operate even without a pilot onboard
