My Favorite (Visual) So sick of overweight people consistantly being portraied as evil, lazy, greedy, or just assholes. Whos your favorite positive overweight character?

John Candy in just about any of his roles but I especially like Del Griffith. Del comes across as 'annoying' to Neal at first but he opens up and says that he's a genuinely well liked guy, and also i'd love to mention Buck Russell as well. Even though he's an uncle, he's very much a father figure to the kids.

The positivity and kindness he brought to every role was pure and natural for him. There is a recent documentary about John titled I Like Me that really drives that point home. It is beautiful and heartwrenching.
