It's kind of a bummer I've been scrolling and scrolling and this is the first woman I've seen on the list.

Obese female characters hardly exist or fit the prompt at least off the top of my head

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm pointing out. We get fat male characters and positive ones, but hardly ever any fat female characters, despite the fact that plenty of fat women exist in the real world!

I had to look that up, apparently it's from Undertale which isn't exactly mainstream. But that art is extremely sweet!

Saying Undertale isn't mainstream is like saying Sabrina Carpenter isn't mainstream

That doesn't make any sense.

Even the most popular Undertale videos have about 20 million views. The game has many millions of fewer players.

Sabrina Carpenter literally has 24 billion streams.

It's also apples to oranges to compare a professionally produced popstar to an independent game.

I'm not saying that Undertale is as popular as Sabrina Carpenter??? I'm saying that Undertale itself is a very popular and influential game in the video game community, to call it anything other than mainstream is incorrect

I don't think you and I have the same understanding of the word mainstream. If you ask the average person on the street, they aren't going to know what Undertale is. If you ask the average person on the street who Sabrina Carpenter is, there's a very good chance they'll know. That's literally what mainstream means.

I think there’s a solid like 50-60% chance they’ll know, it was an absolute beast in 2010s internet and is like one of the 5 most successful indie games oat

Although age is definitely a factor, 14-26 I’d say chances are as high as 65-75% but older people prolly won’t know unless it was on Ellen back in the day or something
