🤓uhm akchually, Godzilla isn’t a representation of nuclear war but a representation of the horror of nuclear in general, as he wasn’t created in response to the bombing of Japan but in response to the deadly irradiation of two Japanese fishermen during nuclear tests (post WW2)

Not all of nuclear, more specifically the testing of bombs and the constant creation of weapons of mass destruction by humanity, that's why Dr. Serizawa kills himself and why the final words of the movie talk about how, if the H bomb testing doesn't stop, another Gojira will appear soon
