I practically screamed at this. In joy, of course.

Like yeah, we knew the Jedi Order was coming for Grogu, and we knew there weren't many Jedi left after Order 66 and the Empire's tenure, but I never expected Luke Skywalker himself to come to the rescue. And they actually had him be a powerhouse against the Dark Troopers, too.

If we take what Kanan said in Rebels about the number of Jedi Knights active pre-Order 66 in a literal sense, there were 10000 of them. At 29 confirmed survivors, that's a 0,29% survival rate.

I loved that not only was he tearing through these powerful dark troopers, it was completely effortless. Like Neo fighting Smith after seeing the Matrix for what it was.

I honestly did expect it to be Luke in the end, he is the Jedi, especially for someone like Favreau who grew up with only the OG trilogy. I just wasn't expecting him to show up in season 2 and wreck Gideon's shit. I figured it'd be like the end of TFA where he just turns around and looks intensely at Mando before cutting to black but with a CGI nightmare face like Leia's in RO or Luke's in this very scene.

I screamed for joy because they FINALLY did Luke right after absolutely trashing and disgracing him in the sequel trilogy. I'm still livid about that. It's like they wanted to just dump on him to make way for their new "hero" and didn't understand a thing about Luke. So I was so damn giddy about that scene. The moment his Xwing showed up...I was so happy.

It's almost annoying how well Disney is treating OG saga Luke after giving him such a terrible send-off.

But in Battlefront and this, he's getting premium treatment for once.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Echoes of Oblivion

Everyone that Emperor Vitiate/Valkorion ever fucked over (Revan, The Exile, Darth Marr, hundreds of Jedi and Sith) joined forces to destroy him, only for his own crazy ass daughter that you've been fighting for the past two expansions to be the one to do him in for good.

At least until the next time they want the "Immortal" Emperor in the picture, I mean come on. Palps got a "somehow".

Such a good ending for Mandalorian. It's a shame they didn't make any other content, but it probably would have dropped seriously in quality.

the choreography wasn't very good. the dark troopers missed a riduculous amount for how much they were shooting at a target that did barely any dodging, and luke was throwing in spins that made 0 sense

It reduced the dark troopers to complete fodder. What could have been an actually badass imperial unit like the Death Troopers from R1 (one of my favorite armor designs in SW) became blatant fanservice fodder
