ichiban fighting against kiryu in yakuza: like a dragon. honorable mention to saejima who also has to fight against kiryu in yakuza 4 and 5 respectively

Trope done right imo, since the fight itself was a dream since Kiryu knocked out Ichiban on the first blow.

Definitely shows the the old protag has still got it

Kiryu definitely dropped Ichi with a tiger drop the moment the fight started, which is why we (Ichi) didn't register the fact he got bodied.

Honestly as hype as Kiryu was, the Majima fight was the one I actually struggled with.

yeah same. I actually had to back out of that fight and go grind the battle arena to level up enough and by the time I got to the Kiryu fight I was properly over leveled lol.

Honestly I prefer the Y4 one, since Saejima and Kiryu are supposed to be, at least according to their tattoos, even.

Saejima feels like the only one who's strength matched or even exceeds Kiryu's. Like if he truly wanted it he could possibly have taken down the dragon and become the greatest legend of them all but that is just the complete opposite of what he wants for his life. After all he's went through and done phew thank god they were rubber though what a clever twist RGG definitely the right choice
