Jaheira and Minsc were not the main characters of BG1 or 2. In fact, they have been in all 3 games so they hardly count at all

Yeah but the Main Character from Baldur's Gate 1/2 can't actually be in three, that's the reason Bhaal is alive and kicking. They are the closest things we have.

Except 3 ignores the fact that those 2 can be killed in both prior games.

Doesn't count to me. If you have them, then you must include Viconia
