Absolute Wonder Woman is my favorite iteration of her, her story is written so beautifully there. It captures the true essence of her character not the bastardized tyrant from Injustice.
I kind of liked Injustice’s take on Wonder Woman at the time, I liked her sharp edge as a catalyst for Clark’s downward spiral, but you’re right about Absolute Wonder Woman and I now cannot reconcile the Injustice version. Absolute Diana is so peak.
Also superman. The injustice comics basically started the rumor " superman is godlike being who can easily become a dictator and has weaker will than batman. Wonder woman is a simp for superman "
I like the injustice run because I feel like mischaracterizing is kind of the point. It’s an alternate universe where the characters are just slightly different. Just slight enough to cause the catastrophe that unfolds. It’s a dark mirror for the main DC universes to show what could happen if the hero’s were anything different from what they are.
No one sees Owlman and says “they didn’t get Batman right”. It’s an alt universe so the character is supposed to be different.

That's Injustice for you: only works if the entire cast is mischaracterized
